Ano... if you look at it this way, you are all trying to apply logic to Jusenkyo, logic does not work at Jusenkyo. It would be rather hard for it there as nothing makes logical sence. Think about it, how the heck did a giant octopus drown? How did it even get up to that area? I respectfully submit to you all that an EVA cn drown after all. It IS... well, I'm not one to give out spoliers.

 Errr...I thought the thing had to _drown_ in the pool?  We see Asuka's
 Eva unit at the bottom of a lake in EoE, unpowered, and the Eva unit
 is not "dead".  In fact, when she jumps up and proceeds to kick ass,
 it's most definitely not drowned. :)
 

	It's my understanding that something doesn't have to die to drown. Let me
just point out Spring of Drowned Akane and I'll be on my way back to working
on my fic. BTW I'll be looking forward to more of this even if I do know
nothing about EVA.
