It was true. *People don't like to hurt nice guys.* Yet, somehow, they
always managed to do it anyway.

Amen to that. It's lines like these, I think, that I agree with or can
relate to, that make this series great.

Finally, there was somewhere where the women were in charge
-- the way things ought to be everywhere. It was a basic law of the
universe:
women were beautiful, wise, and kind. The source of everything good.
Men, on the
other hand, were ugly, mean, and stupid; the source of all trouble. It
was a
truth that Tsubasa had tried to deny at one time, but he no longer
could.

Eew. There's a disturbing look into Tsubasa's twisted little mind. Kinda
makes you wonder where he got that idea, though.(Though I'm not
particularly sure if I want to know.) :P

Would Ranma really go to Jusenkyo during this trip? Tsubasa had no
clue.
But *he* would go there. He knew a good thing when he saw it. And then
all of
Ranma's women would be attracted to him.

Don't hold your breath, Tsubasa. ^_^

He prayed
to the gods for an answer.

The telephone rang. Mu Si hesitated. It rang three more times, and he
answered it.

"This is Kasumi! How have you been?"

Coincidence, he told himself. It *had* to be coincidence.

Hmmmm.....

"Akane, if I'm ever stupid enough to... leave myself open... around
her,
promise you'll get me away. Beat the crap out of me if you have to."

	"Akane?"

	"Mmm?"

	"ONLY if you have to."

This is a good reminder to give to Akane, I think. ^_^

It was like being cured. No, it was better
than being cured. "This is... incredible! How can I thank you?"

Kasumi smiled. "Just go and win the fight."

I can see this happenning, but I think it would take longer than the
course of an evening to figure it out. But hey, you're the author...

AUTHOR'S RAMBLINGS: The bit about the nanniquan not being able to cure
the curses is not Ranma 1/2 canon. In fact, it is probably wrong, since
the
instant nanniquan provided a temporary cure in vol. 8.

The canon is somewhat inconsistent about this. True, the instant
nannichuan cured Ranma temporarily, but when Taro got splashed with
water from the Spring of Drowned Octopus, he just got tentacles and the
ability to shoot ink from his fingers. So you could go either way.

 On the other hand, if
curing the curses were so simple, why don't people who get cursed
simply jump in
the curing springs right away?

My theory is that the people who know enough about Jusenkyo to do that
are smart enough not to go there. I don't think the Guide has told his
customers anything about curing springs, just which spring the poor sap
fell into.

If my sanity asks, I was never here.
