as the bad guy/antagonist, and not as a living power battery/new-and-
most-powerful team member/love interest? >>
You know, I'm wondering about this too...but I've got a few more
questions to
ask:
	1. Has anybody cast themselves as the person that's stuck between two
groups? (And, of course, always in the worst way possible...like, in fights,
being caught by the majority of the blasts...)
	2. Has anyone killed themselves in an SI?
Please, gimmie a URL or other possible lead towards a copy.

There have been several of these. The first that comes to mind is "Youma
Blues", where the author is trapped in the Sailor Moon reality, and runs
into Jadite. He is unfortunately transformed by Jadite into a Youma.

It can be found at the author's web page at this URL.

Another good one, whose author I can't remember, is Books. The
protagonist, Ian, falls INTO a book while in a bookstore, and is being
chased by a villain who was ALSO a victim of the same book. Said villain
has acquired a certain amount of power and is rather loath to give it up.
He sees Ian as a threat, and seeks to make the boy a _former_ threat.
Unfortunately, given Ian's ability to land at crisis points, the bad guy
tends to try to simplify the situation by shooting at _everyone_. Good
guys, bad guys, Innocent Bystanders, he shoots them all to get at Ian.

This, of course, tends to irritate folks.

I don't have a URL for this one, but I do have a copy of the parts that
came across the FFML some time ago, and if/when I can unbury the desk my
Commodore Amiga sits on, I'll get those copies off of it's hard drive, find
the author, and we can go looking for that person, asking for permission to
repost, and a status update.

There are a few more, but not many. Most SI's tend to cast themselves as
at least neutral, and prefer to cast themselves as a good guy, if not THE
good guy.

	Hope that helps.
