Shinji Ikari, the 3rd child and pilot of EVA-01, is in the deepest depression
known to mankind. He's seen walking through town on the way to the Geofront;
the heavy weight of his heart slowing him down.
Shinji: [Both Misato and Ayanami are scary. I've just killed Kaoru. I... I
can't go on. Asuka... Help me... Help m...] OOF!!
He accidently bumps into someone and falls to the ground. He's quick to
apologize as he finds himself in front of a cute Japanese girl with a bandana around
her head.
Sakura: Hey, kid. You look down. Wanna talk about it?

Later that day, the two are at Silky Shocker's Ice Cream store. Four bowls of
Banana Split were finished in under an hour as Shinji hits Sakura with a deluge of
sob stories. The time his father dumped him, the time he was called to be used as a
weapon, the time Asuka came in, the many times he was trapped in his Eva; and he
continued on up to where he destroyed Kaoru, the only person that gave him "love"
at that time. Shinji shed enough tears to fill one of the bowls.
Sakura: I guess... It sucks being you, kid.
Shinji: And the worst part is that my dad never gave me any credit for
anything I did! Except for that one time, but that was it.
Sakura: Your father's a dick, kid. He's probably using you to cover up for his
imputance.
Shinji: You shouldn't say that. My father... We! We're doing good things up
in NERV. We're protecting the lives of the human race here!
Sakura: Bullshit! (Shinji brings his head up.) I got people up in here that'll
totally disagree with you! If you have the time, you can come along.
Shinji: I...
A couple of NERV MiB were at a nearby table listening to this conversation
when they finally decide to go over there and break it up. But an obsticle came in
their way. And it came in form of a large, muscular military soldier from the
United States.
MiB1: Hey! You're in our way! We have orders to...
Before he said anymore, the soldier grabbed them both by the collar and held
them up as Shinji and Sakura left for parts unknown.
Guile: Humph! Using children in a war between humankind and your
enemies! The military gives no respect to scum like you! (Smashes
the MiBs' heads together.)

Vega: (Chuckles coldly...) So, do you think a little girl like you can actually
stand a chance against me?
Karin: (Same cold chuckle...) Well, I'll not only stand a chance against you.
I'll show you how ugly you really are.
A typical Street Fighter brawl starts to ensue, but Cammy comes in and
immediately breaks them up with a "Double Thrust Kick."
Cammy: Will you two snobs BREAK IT UP??!! Save your energy for NERV!
We're gonna need it!
Vega: (:^o^:) That's not fair! Hitting us over the head like that, Cammy-chan!
Karin: (:^o^:) That's right! What's the point of going to war without a little
practice, Cammy-onechan!?
Cammy: (Really mean.) DON'T ACT CUTE WITH ME...!!
Cammy's ventting was cut short as she saw Sakura walk by with a blind-
folded Shinji. Sakura's trying to get him to sing her theme song and is
encouraging Shinji to get his own. Meanwhile, in the main office...
Guy: (Reading his script.) "Don't think of me badly." "Don't blame me."
Hey, Rolento. Which one sounds best?
Rolento: (Sitting on the table.) It won't make a hell of beans unless we find a
way to get to that "thing" underground in time.
Guy: We have our orders: "Kill everyone. Make sure NERV doesn't
succeed with their plans."
Rolento: It's NERV's plans. But... It's also the plan of SEELE's. We have to
get them as well. I feel bad, though. It's a waste of good manpower.
Guy: Funny, though. We now have the technology to... (Theres a knock on
the door.) Who is it?!
Sakura: Officer Sakura Kasugano with a present for you, Sir!
Rolento: I'm alergic to chocolate, Ms. Kasugano!
Sakura: It's not chocolate, Sir!
She opens the door to bring in herself and Shinji, still blind-folded. She
closes the door behind her and Shinji's ordered to take off his blindfold. Moment's
later...
Shinji: My father wants to kill all of us?!
Rolento: That's right! He wants to start his "Instrumentality Project," thereby
killing all of us and making himself a God! We got enough Gods!
Guy: And he wants to use you and Eva-01 as a catalyst.
Shinji: (Starting to cry.) That's not true! Why would he want to do something
like that?! WHY?!
Rolento: It's simple, really. He wants to be with his dead wife again.
Shinji: (GASP!)
Guy: That guy is a nut. He just doesn't get that his wife is dead. He
implants her soul into that Eva you "pilot," makes clones of his wife,
and then proceeds to screw anyone in his radius.
Sakura: He used you, Shinji. He used you like he uses everyone else. And you
still refer to him as your father?
Shinji: (Silence... Then...) Damn... damn... da-
Rolento: DON'T JUST QUIETLY CURSE, BOY!! Where I come from, we
track down deadbeat dads and put caps in their asses!
Shinji: .....
Guy: You've been through pain, kid. Make him feel you pain! Make him
feel how it is to be you!
Shinji: .....
Sakura: (Comes up from behind him and massages his back.) Gendo wants
everyone to die so he can make himself a fantasy world! Are you
gonna have this...?
Shinji: ...no... I... (He raises his head, his eyes turning beady and filling with
flames.) I'LL MOP THE FLOOR WITH HIS SCRAWNY ASS!!
The scene quickly changes to Tokyo-3's scenery as a very irate Shinji Ikari
yells off over the horizon...
Shinji: GENDO!! I'M GIVING YOU A ONE-WAY TICKET TO HELL!!
NON-STOP!!!

At the same time, NERV's bridge crew is disoriented by EVA-01's suddenly
violent activity.
Maya: HUH?! EVA-01's responding!
Kouzou: WHAT?!
EVA-01's loud roar shakes up the whole entire complex, confusing everyone.
Misato: (In the thin computer software space, sipping on some beer...)
*SPIT!!* HUH?! Oops! (Sees that she's spat some beer on the
components, frying them to a crisp.)
Ritsuko: (In her cell.) ......!
Asuka: (On her bed in the medical ward.) ......!
Rei: (In the pool of LCL.) Ikari-kun... Is angry...
Gendo: Where's the third child?
Kouzou: Well... We can't find him. Two of our MiBs were found beaten to a
pulp and unconscious. We've lost contact since then.
Gendo: Hmph. He's ran away again. It doesn't matter.
Maya: It doesn't matter?! How can you say things about him! HE'S YOUR
SON FOR CHRIST SAKES!!
Gendo: You can run away too, if you like.
Maya: (Gives an evil stare at him.)
Gendo: We're going to be attacked. I'm expecting it. Now would be a good
time for you to run.
A week later, the morning sun shine down upon the Geofront. But the
camera quickly spins to the greenery where some JDF soldiers are in camouflage.
Gen: We will strike quickly like the wind; leaving great distruction in our
wake.
Juni: It's too damn peaceful. I wish there was some rain or a thunderstorm
or something.
Ibuki: (From the radio.) All teams are in position. Initiating the first strike,
now. (Some silence passes...)
Juni: Are you sure bringing the kid was a good idea?
Gen: He wishes to see his nightmare through. Besides, no matter what he
does, it is written...
Sirens go off all over NERV bridge as a computer virus infiltrates the first
part of the MAGI. Makoto, Shigeru, and Maya (Still here) are going nuts trying to
stop it.
Kouzou: I guess it's started, Commander Ikari.
Gendo: The old men are afraid of us. We have both Adam and Lillith. You
know what to do, Fuyutsuki.
Ritsuko: A virus?
Guard: (From outside the cell door.) Yes, ma'am. You must come to the
bridge immediately. Ms. Ibuki will give you all the details.
Ritsuko: I see. Even a dumped woman can still be useful. What a reasonable
man.
Misato: (Unwrapping her hair as she heads toward the bridge.) What's going
on, Makoto?
Makoto: Good morning! The UN has given the order to cancel the NERV
program. Nine superbombers have left their original airfields and is
heading this way. A virus has also infiltrated our supercomputer. But
Ritsuko's here at the bridge, and she's doing her best to counteract it.
Misato: I guess this IS serious, huh? They would strike knowing that we don't
have the EVA's to fight back with.
Ritsuko's busy typing the anti-virus code into Casper. Meanwhile, outside
along the Geofront, tanks and mobile artillery are setting themselves up for the
second part of the onslaught. Back in NERV, only a kilobyte of memory was
lighting up before MAGI was completely engulfed. Then it set itself back to
normal.
Maya: The MAGI's back to normal, sir!
Misato: Well, that's a relief!
Makoto: We're not out of the woods yet, Major! We lost contact with stations
11, 21, 15, and 6!
Shigeru: BINGO!!
A moment of silence. Misato comes over to Shigeru and sees that he's
holding a bingo card with plastic coins on it. She then looks over to Shigeru... and
hits him over the head.
Some rounds of tank slugs and a barrage of missiles blast away several of the
anti-aircraft missile platforms. The emergency signals are going crazy.
Maya: Major! All of our AAM turrets are knocked out!
Kouzou: As suspected. NERV's last enemy is human as well.
Gendo: Hmph!
Shigeru's about to say something when everybody turns to stare at him,
daring him to say something. Not wanting to cause any more trouble, he just sat
there and smiled. Meanwhile, one of the planes drops the N2 bomb upon the
Geofront, annihilating the top of the area and causing mass destruction over NERV
Headquarters. Everyone is knocked to the ground as the alarms in the bridge center
goes nuts, shining blood red with ALERT signals.
Shigeru: Major, I have a report!
Misato: Yes, what is it?
Shigeru: A giant squid is attacking a fish, Major! (Everybody, even Gendo,
facevaults.)
Misato: Thank you, Mr. Aoba.
Ritsuko: (Sweatdropping.) Man! He's a great lawyer, and greater at parties.
But he doesn't know how to be a bridgebunny to save his life!
Misato: WE'VE GOT TO GET THE PILOTS OUTTA HERE!! Where's the
1st Child?!
Gendo: She's with me, Major. There's no need to worry.
Misato: Okay! Where's the 2nd Child at?!
Makoto: She's still in sickbay!
Misato: Then put her into EVA-02 and launch it immediately!
Shigeru: I can't seem to find the 3rd Child anywhere!
A very loud explosion! Shigeru expects an attack; so he draws his gun from
the drawer, turns around quickly and... Sees all of his associates fall in a pile of
UFO catcher dolls.
Misato-Doll: (Sign: GET ME STINKIN' DRUNK!!) Shinji... Run away...
Run away as far as you can... Then... Avenge us all...
A NERV guard is getting nervous with all the explosions going on. So he's
taking extra percaution and holding his machine gun tight. A moan catches him by
surprise. He turns around and aims his gun at... a naked lady who looks like she
was on heroin.
Hinata: Oh my God! Help me! Please!
Guard: ????!!!! Don't worry! I'll help! Just come here...
Too late, a JDF soldier (Vega) comes from behind and slits his throat. The
guard falls in a pool of his own blood. Then, the blast doors open to reveal more
soldiers.
Hinata: See? Wha' did I tell ya'. Smarts. Brains.
Vega: Yeah, yeah, sure. Just get your clothes back on!
Guard2: (Coming towards the other guard standing near the trucks.)
GANGWAY!! GATES 3, 5, AND 12 HAVE BEEN BREACHED!!
Guard3: BINGO!! (Guard 2 chokes Guard 3.) Uh... I mean...
TOO LATE!! One of the trucks get filled with exploding heads and ignites,
killing everyone around.
Gendo: Major, I want you to put some extra security around Central Dogma.
(Gets up to leave.)
Misato: Yes, sir.
Gendo: This is where I leave everything in your care, Fuyutsuki.
Kouzou: Be sure to say hi' to Yui for me.
The JDF are obliterating the NERV soldiers. Machine guns, grenade
launchers, VTOL Hummers; a trail of dead bodies are left in their wake. One JDF
soldier is going a bit slow until a surprise attack hits the JDF from above.
Undiscoverd by the Guards, he Cho-Yun-Fats it and hits every target point blank!
Needless to say, each of the guards start dropping like flies.
Adon: YOW!! I didn't even know you had it in you, kid! AIGHT THEN,
LET'S GO!!
The JDF continues on its way towards Central Dogma, leaving the NERV
guards in a pool of blood. A flashback ensues...
Mike Bison is showing Shinji his Psycho Drive: a weapon he will use to
destroy any other "Angels" as well as the EVA series.
Bison: Do you know why I brought you here? (Shinji cautiously shakes his
head.) Rolento has been saying extra-ordinary things about you. How
you were able to manage a year's worth of training in only one week.
Shinji: It's nothing, really. NERV is part of the UN; it's the world's army.
Bison: But you have natural talent, son. Is it feuled by anger? By sorrow?
By a need to be noticed and loved for your good works?
Shinji brings his head down in depression, but Bison puts his hat on top of
Shinji's head.
Bison: You don't have to conform to Gendo's world. You can create your
own. You even have the power to become a "Street Fighter."
Shinji: A Street Fighter?
Bison: This, Ikari, is my ultimate weapon; a weapon that should've been used
upon those so-called Angels a long time ago. My "Psycho Drive."
With the same power that can wipe out an entire city, I can wipe out all
17 Angels three times over!
Shinji: You... You're going to take over the world as well?
Bison: Hmmm?
Shinji: I've heard about you. You lead Shadowloo...
Bison: The rumors are true, child. I wish to take over the world and become
it's ruler. (Pause.) While those at SEELE wish to destroy this world
and rule it through their own Godliness. Even tyrants such as myself
shall not have this! The physically weak shall NOT be allowed to
dominate!
The camera takes a shot at the Psycho Drive form top to bottom.
Shinji: But do we have to kill everyone at NERV?
Bison: Some of your best friends are there, huh? Or are they your best
friends? Gendo wants to become a God. And the only way to stall us
is by putting up obstacles. People who are friends, family, (Like I
even care, but...) He'll place them in our way to keep us from stopping
him! You have no choice but to kill them all! If we fail, we will all
die anyway! Your friends are obstacles, but you have the power to
knock them all down! And later, when all is said and done, only then
is where you make ammends...
The flashback ends...
Shinji: [My friends... Misato, Asuka, Rei, Ritsuko... They're obstacles... In
our way... That's it!] (Starts putting more energy into his blasting.)
THAT'S RIGHT!! ALL OBSTACLES WILL BE KNOCKED
DOWN!!
Asuka's in her EVA-02, which is deep in the bottom of the lake. Her
humanoid robot is just laying there, helpless, as a dozen dozen of depth charges
float down upon her.
Asuka: I'm... Still inside... (Gets rattled with depth charges exploding,
making her scream in fear.) I... I don't wanna die... I don't wanna
die...
Kyoko: Don't die... Don't die...
Asuka/Kyoko: DON'T...!! DIE!!
Asuka screams again as images flash in her mind. But then... she ends up as
a little girl holding her doll in a dark forest. Her mother, Kyoko, is appearing from
out of nowhere coming close to her daughter.
Asuka: Mama! It that really you?! Mama!! THAT'S IT!!
Her Evangelion... Doesn't work.
Asuka: HUH??!! WHAT'S HAPPENING??!! MAMA!!!

Sakura/Shinji: YAY!!
"JDF'S HOW & WHY"
Shinji's dressed in his school uniform as Sakura pops from the fence in a
sexy bunny outfit. (Pocket Fighter)
Sakura: Everyone! Come closer! Find out one of the secrets utilized by the
JDF!
Shinji: Come closer, please. What happened? Asuka's seemed to finally
make contact with her EVA. But was it suppose to activate?
Rose: (Appearing in the trademark "sexy scientist wardrobe.") If this is the
End of EVA movie, EVA-02 would've reawaken and started kicking
our butts right about now. But this isn't, so she's not. Remember
"Phase 1" of our plan, Shinji?
Shinji: You mean, the Virus?
Sakura: That virus was made by the world's top computer experts. Those
picked up from the war between Microsoft and its enemies.
Rose: The Virus came in two parts: The first part makes itself known, giving
NERV the time limit to lose their minds and then think of a counter-
attack. The second part was initiated when the Virus was wiped out. I
refer to it as the "Ghost Virus." It does more damage by rendering
secret codes as chickenscratch, crashing mainframe computers like
glass, and causing manned EVA's to become instant "time bombs."
Asuka: (Appearing from the side as EVA-02 with her head on it, crying.)
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT I_AM_GONNA DIE???!!!
Sakura: No hard feelings, Tiff! You're a superb VO!
Asuka screams her loudest as her once proud EVA-02 explodes into a white
flash, causing the lake to heave up and go skyward.
Rei: .....
Asuka: I don't need your help!
Several of NERV's "Creme De La Creme" Security are lined up in front of
the only gateways to Central Dogma. Some of them are scattered throughout the
hallways leading to those openings. Misato and her crew are in the middle of one
of those openings.
Misato: [This is the only way they're gonna get in. But... I don't understand.
Even the most mobile assault group can't be that mobile unless they
had some form of help. No! It CAN'T be!]
The emergency call on her radio catches everyone's attention.
Guard4: (From radio.) This is Section 8! JDF's got... They got...
Guard5: (Grab's radio.) Hey! You're suppose to be "Section 8!" You're the
ones that get your hands dirty!
But the loud explosion, followed by a quick cut-off, dictates Section 8's
failure. Misato tells her crew to stay put as she jumps up and hurries through the
hallway; only to have to duck from the path of a guided missile. The missile
rockets its way to the main gates. And the guards try to escape unsuccessfully as
the it detonates into a "Stage 4" blast.
Some JDF soldiers are a couple hallways away from where the explosion and
screamings are.
Skullo: I guess we got em, Mika.
R.Mika: Alright! I knew these CHM's (Closed Habitat Missiles) would work.
Okay, CHARGE!!
JDF Mika charges down the hallway only to get caught off guard, and then
blasted, by Misato. The other three JDF's start a gunfight with her, but Shinji's not
as prone to "Spontanious Trooper Syndrome" as the others. He's such a dead-on
shot that he shoots Misato's gun off, shoots her twice in the stomach, and then runs
up and knees her face in, knocking her to the wall.
Norimaru: (Runs up to check Mika.) Hey, Mika! Are you okay?
R.Mika: (Checking her helmet.) I'm fine. She just gazed me...
Misato: You JDF bastards and bitches! Who gave you the order to just
ransack NERV and kill us all?! The UN will go down in history with
this. And you'll never be forgiven!!
Shinji: Stop this, Misato.
Misato: (Looking up to see the expert JDF soldier who used to be known as
Shinji Ikari, and starts crying.) I should've known. You've defected.
Shinji: Misato-san. I have a question: Did you ever loved me at all? Or was I
just your tool to fight against these enemies of humanity? Answer me
quickly!
Misato: (Cries some more. Then her mouth moves, but no words come out.)
Shinji: .....liar.
Shinji shoots Misato in the head, causing it to explode with guts and blood.
At this point, he now wants to cry... but is knocked back into reality by Skullo as
they start to head toward the gates to Central Dogma. An unnoticed Rei Ayanami is
there looking over the now-dead Misato.
Misato: Shinji shot me... My dear Shinji shot me... Hmph. Well done, Shinji-kun...
Meanwhile, the rest of the NERV bridge crew are having gunfights with the
JDF soldiers down below. Kouzou's trying to give orders under heavy gunplay.
Makoto and Shigeru are firing back as Maya hides under the table unable to take
such stress.
Kouzou: I just lost contact with Misato and her crew!
Makoto: Which means that the JDF has gotten to them! This is a dark day for
NERV!
Shigeru: This is insane! Why don't they just ask us to leave our jobs
peacefully?! I need to go really bad. Hey, Fuyutsuki...!
But when Shigeru turned around, he's so shocked that he goes in his pants.
A bloodied Kouzou is hanging on a metal cable was the last thing he saw before
metal claws ripped through his neck. Makoto didn't even realized what went on
until he got stabbed several times by several small knives.
Maya's still hiding under the table, losing her mind, when soldiers Vega,
Rolento, and Gen mananged to take over the bridge.
Vega: Come on out, little girl. (Licking his lips.) It's time for you to die.
Maya: (Finally loses it and starts acting like a cat.) Meow... ^_^
Gendo knows that he doesn't have much time left. So after he gets Rei from
out of the LCL pool, they quickly head for Lillith. But waiting for them there is a
totally psyched-out Ritsuko.
Ritsuko: You didn't come when I was calling for you. (Pulls out her gun.)
Gendo: Ritsuko... You_ARE_the real Ritsuko, right?
Ritsuko: I am real. The pain you made me and my mom feel was real. Your
death, also, is going to be real.
Ritsuko fires off two bullets at deadly aim. But they were quickly deflected
to other directions due to some unknown force.
Ritsuko: (Flabbergasted.) U- Unbelievable!
Gendo: Really? (Pulls out his gun.) I have the power of Adam in my hands.
With this, I shall bring mankind another notch up the evolutionary
chart. Something a poly-math genius like you should fully
understand.
Tears start to roll down the scientist's cheek. But then she realizes that she
has to duck because the JDF have taken the opportunity to take cheap shots at the
supreme commander and his albino trump-card. All types of arsenal was thrown at
them, but the AT Field managed to deflect them all. Gendo shifts his attention
toward the bewildered soldiers.
Gendo: That is the power of Adam and Lilith. All of you are helpless in trying
to steer destiny away from it's path. Now, Rei... (puts his hand,
embedded with Adam, onto Rei's back.) Start the project and bring
me to Yui's side.
Shinji: (Fires a shot causing Gendo and Rei to duck spontaneously.)
DESTINY'S MADE ON OUR OWN TERMS, YOU ASSHOLE!!
Gendo: Huh?!
The younger Ikari takes off his helmet and mask to reveal his face, far
different from before. A large scar travels from the top left of his head, between
his beady black eyes, across his enormously vicious snear, and ends along the right
of his chin. Rei notices his feriocity and shows some fear while Gendo tries his
best to keep a calm stance.
Shinji: Fucking up people's lives! Stabbing them in the back! Using them
towards your ends! That's the best thing you can do! You're SO
good at it that you can do it in your sleep! And Rei! You are a clone!
You weren't at first sperm and egg! You weren't even given birth to!
How about that?!
Rei: Ikari-kun.
At that instant she starts changing into Misato, Asuka, Yui, and Kaoru. But
Shinji fires his gun at her again, causing her to stop.
Shinji: No thanks! I had more than enough! I'm here to end this, Gendo! To
end this fucking insanity! But I'll ask you this: The Angels weren't
found by humans! They were created by them! I'm right, am I?!
Gendo, astonished by the fact that his own son would not refer to him as his
father, removed his glasses and placed them in his coat pocket.
Gendo: And how do you wish to end this, Shinji? Unless you can go through
the AT Field, you don't stand a chance.
Shinji: (Closes his eyes.) Oh, I see. Well... You remember Brotha Lynch
Hung, right?
Gendo: Brother... Who?
Shinji: Yeah. One of Sacramento's best rap artists. He's under the record
company of BLACK MARKET!
Shinji ducks out of the way as Rainbow Mika holds up a missile launcher
and fires it at Rei. The missile is blocked by her AT Field, but its nose opens up
and slices through the barrier. It fires off an explosive that goes onto her neck, and
the last thing she did was scream as her upper body blew up in front of Gendo.
Astonished that there were other ways of weakening the AT Field, Gendo
takes the opportunity to flee. But Shinji was expecting this and followed quickly
behind. Within a blur he quickly wrapped a metal wire around his father's neck,
causing him to sufficate. Then he jumped up into the air and fired off a hook that
went straight up to the ceiling. Using gravity to his advantage, Shinji's small weight
manages to pull Gendo's weight from the floor, thereby hanging him.
Shinji: This is for Toji! (Turns on the switch on his wrist which sends jolts of
electricity to Gendo's body.) This if for making me kill Kaoru!
Gendo's continues to struggle through this ordeal, but to no avail. He's fried
out as light emits from his mouth and eyes.
Shinji: This is for killing my mom!
Shinji then takes out his machine gun and quickly "swiss-cheeses" his father.
He then releases the wire to have him fall to the floor as he continues on shooting
him. Lastly he takes out a small missile launcher.
Shinji: And THIS...!! Is for thinking you can fuck me!
The launched missile hits Gendo's dead carcass, exploding on impact and
sending the enraged young Ikari flying to the floor.
SEELE Meeting Hall
Seele05: The JDF are successful in taking over NERV.
Seele06: That's magnificent! Now we can start the Complimentation Project
our own way and become Gods!

Seele02: They're actually composed of soldiers from all arount the world:
Mercenaries, Rebel UN's, Militias, Shadowloo, and a whole shitload of
other soldiers who believes that our way is wrong.
Lorenz: There's no need to worry. When the nine EVA-05 series land within
the Geofront, they'll harshly take care of those rebel soldiers. Then we
can take Adam and Lillith for ourselves.
Scene changes to the nine bombers carrying the EVA-05 series flying above.
Lorenz: We will become Gods! Anyone in our way will perish!
The nine EVAs release themselves from the bombers, and then fly down to
their apointed target. They land all around what's left of NERV HQ and start
digging and scraping around the area so they can be able to get inside. But at that
short period of time, all the soldiers have made it out safely. And they are now
quite a long ways from where the EVAs are digging a hole.
As the soldiers hide in the background, Shinji takes this opportunity to cry
and feel himself with deep guilt. But Sakura comes by and pats him on the back.
Sakura: No-no. This isn't a time to feel sad. This is a great day! You've
vanquished the enemy, saved millions of lives, and will spare millions
more to come!
Shinji: But... I don't feel right. I feel... Dirty...
Scene changes to Maya and Ritsuko, being taken as hostage by the soldiers.
(Or that's what they have them believe.)
Sakura: The road to finding your true self is covered with dirt. Sometimes
you'd have to be covered with mud in order to make a mold to fit you.
You've done more in a week than most people can do in a year. You
should be proud of yourself.
Shinji, still in his sorrow, was about to retort when...
Hinata: ACK!! INCOMING!!
Shinji: Huh?! The Psycho Drive!
A powerful, flaming force speeds down upon it's target. It hits NERV HQ,
where the EVA-05 series are, and decimates the whole area. It reached down deep
into Central Dogma, where Lillith is. And then it reaches down deeper, filling
every nook and cranny with it's destructive power. Everyone on the outside of it's
radius is being blown away by it's massive force. The Geofront goes up in a
dreaded "Mushroom Cloud." NERV is no more...
After the dust settles...
Norimaru: IT'S PARTY TIME!!
All the soldiers take their opportunities to party like it's 1999. Everyone's
dancing, singing, partying, drinking alcohol, brawling, smoking, sexing, et cetera.
When Sakura grabbed Shinji's hands and started dancing with him, his heavy heart
starts to lighten up a bit. He goes in and gives her a deep kiss, which she gladly
returns. Everyone near them starts hooting and hollaring like sports fans.
Shinji: (After a long kiss.) Maybe... This isn't bad... After all... (Turns his
head to look at the decimated landscape.) I can feel it... The hope
that's still out there... Even though there's evil out there... I have to
be evil also... But I will not be alone. Goodbye, mother.

AUTHOR'S RAMBLINGS: Yet another proud "Anti-EoE" product from having to
sit through the damn movie. But this time with a new twist! I've combined the
EVA world with the world of the warriors, the "Street Fighters" (plus the "Final
Fighters," and the "Rival Schoolkids...")
Basically there are many different ways you can give Shinji a backbone. You can
tell him that you love him. You can have sex with him. You can show him that he
has powers greater than can be obtained from piloting his EVA. It's all in the
matter of what you know.
And to those who think I don't understand what's going on and wish to refer to me
as an idiot, I'll set the record straight:
I think EVA's a great show. I'll agree that it's the greatest show in it's time. It's for
those who hate those other mindless shows; those where you can figure out the
ending from the first show. "EVA makes you think!" What I DON'T like is the
mindraping, the sexual frustration, the senceless killings, the drafting of anyone
under 18 years of age into war, and the logic applied when the Japanese didn't
approve of the "happy ending" of the EVA TV series.
How messed up Hideaki Anno's personal life is is not for us to know, especially
through his show. It's not that I don't like Anno either. He made Nadia and
Gunbuster, great shows with great animation. Both had none of the really horrible
stuff you'd find in EVA. Just good, clean, wholesome fun. Especially Otaku No
Video, the "Otaku Bible" my friend states. It's a great review of a typical anime
fan. Anno should do this at least yearly.
The simple animation style of Japanese anime is the most intriging style in the
world. Where companies like Disney rely on dazzling eye-candy and mindless plot,
anime companies like Gainax hit you with more plot. And they're not afraid to
attack you with pencil-drawn stick figures either. That's why I like anime. But it's
shows like EVA that put my devotion to the test. You know my e-mail. We can
get together and discuss this over some coffee. I'm gonna be on this topic for a
long period of time. ~_~;
