Plus, I have a question: Does ANYONE know how to get WordPad to
wordwrap? I've been having that same problem forever now.
If nothing else, could anyone recommend a good wordprocessor?
Preferably a shareware freebie? <shows his empty wallet>
It is very easy to get word pad to wordwrap. It just doesn't really do much
for the text once you save it.
Regardless, you can go to VIEW: Options. Then select the text tab and click
the radio button for "wrap to ruler." I would also suggest checking the box
to show the ruler as well.
Then you can tell it to save as a text file with line breaks, and you might
get something close to what you wanted.
However, what I do is I use a program a fellow writer on another ML came up
with. Its most recent incarnation is called "WinHelper" and can be found on
his website at: http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/mckesson/SalorMon.htm
go to the program page, you can download it there.
(CC'd to the FFML in the hopes that this helps other writers who are
struggling with formatting problems)
