One had wondered when this idea would come up.  And it's not _that_
far out of character for Genma (though it's not the real issue here,
cetainly some of Genma's 'training exercises' have been out-and-out
physical abuse).  One gets the feeling that this has been going on for
quite some time.  

The bit with the bathroom is a spin one hadn't seen on the 'Akane's
cooking' riff before... and leads nicely into the discussion of
Genma's eating habits.  Not often that that cliche gets used for much.

As for what Akane would do... *sigh*.  Charging in, unless she KOed
(or killed) Genma immediately, would probably have her wind up sharing
Ranma's fate.  Screaming to alert her family could work, at least to
get Genma out of the house... but is Soun strong enough to keep Ranma
away from his father? 

Probably the most realistic thing would be the first option; Akane
would, one thinks, sneak away and hide under her covers and try to
deny what she saw.  And be unable to.  She'd try to draw Ranma out, be 
someone to lean on... which the fathers would take as True Love
blossoming.  How she'd get Ranma to confide in her, or force Genma
out... well, you've got your work cut out for you. 

(Hopefully, this is more in the nature of C&C than of ansering the
polled questions.)
