(I am responding to this publicly b/c Mr. Liao addressed a question to the
FFML that I could answer.  I have NO wish to start a public debate on the
history of Japan.  I've spent two research papers, that's quite enough for
me.  Or, for that matter, on the characterization of the business man...you
guys argue about strange things sometimes...)

Where were the days when mere peasants had their heads loped off for
just speaking contrary to their superior?!  Now, I can't say I approve
of not going through a proper medium, the go-between and what not, but
these are modern times, after all.

As I've been told,the merchant class back then were in the same boat as
the peasants.  Of course, I may be wrong, which is why I'm posting this
C&C to the FFML.  Am I?

I believe so, yes.  Of course, in the later years of the shogunate, they
gained increasing amounts of wealth, but status wise, still the same.

The business man, naturally, doesn't remember that bit of history.

Takada Yuzo.  Mr. Takada also did 3x3 Eyes(another one of my favorites)
and Blue Seed.

I think the con man digressions are a little too lengthy to keep
the interest of a prospective buyer.  Perhaps having him tie the events

better?  A little difficult, but if done well, it might sound a bit more
realistic.

Verdad.  It's also true that there isn't much of an actual sales pitch.  For
some reason, I tacked on a bit about the bungalow.... Now that I think of
it, it would be MUCH better if I simply eliminated that part, showed a few
more frustrating Neriman teen incidents, attached him to the "you" (so if
you tried to leave, he'd follow,) then simply had him say... well, I shan't
spoil the ending in public.

Yay!  Another Nuku Nuku fic (even if she never shows up).

Well, I figured that if it were Nuku Nuku running through the streets, my
business man would get quite smushed.
