The Land of Moo Juice and Clover Brand
(or Livin' in the Amish Paradise)

Once, my children, there was a wonderous land of milk and honey,
known as the Fine Formula of Milk Land. It was a peaceful land, knowing
little strife or anger (the Army twas comprised of Amish Marines). All
the residents knew that the formula for a happy life was so simple it took
only three steps. Twas the sweat of one's brow, added to the bravery of
one's heart, and the products of Cows and Clover (aka C&C).

But those are days long past, before our fathers prayed under
church kleeple...er, steeples.

These lands were open to all, my children, and hundreds soon
joined. And with them, came those who pushed no yoke, and so made no
sweat; tried no endevour, and so never tested their hearts; enjoyed Amish
bashing, and so neither partook of the milk and honey or the land. And
yet, they were still welcomed by most, if not all.

But those are days long past, before those who lurked in the
shadows bore the name Hibiki.

Amongst these, my children, were those more foul, creatures known
as the yak and the troll. They worshiped no fanfics, and held the touch
of Old King Python of legend; all they touched turned to Spam. And with
great shouts of noise, they disruped the peace greatly.

But those are days long past, before the wolf with fur of curious
vertue changed its name to one of a cat.

And thus, a great Evil arose, children. And those on the side of
Good did shout denounciations of this Evil, And those on the side of Evil
did shout denounciations of the Good, And a great war was fought, And the
Amish scattered, so that the Art of farming was almost lost.

But those are days long past, before the Summer of Dragon Eyes,
where sages asked of themselves if a bottle of soap was partially full or
empty, and it's bearing on their lives.

My children, do not lose hope, for it is written in a book that
one day, when the three virtues are once more practiced by all, that the
wonderous pair of dice will be regained.

'k, everyone. I'm dissapointed. Really. I know that this little fic
contains little of the humor or creative spark of my past posts, and it
could be done with more flair, wit, and with better effect from those who
have been on the FFML for N number of years, where N is a value greater
than my tiny 1. Yes, I'll bet that they could. Maybe post less spam
while they're at it. Yeah...

In a way, this is a challenge. We've heard how bad spam is for the list,
so I challenge the participants of this thread to write a parody, joke, or
general spamfic to argue their points. Is this talk of less spam-more C&C
hypocrisy, or can the writers put their money where their mouth is. I've
done this with Gubby(before I lost my temper), and when someone flamed me
for using a HGTTG reference once too often in a spamfic, so I know it can
be done. You can check the Usenet archive under my name for these
examples whenever it gets working again (whatever happened to it,
anyway?).

As for the 'obscure' old days references, they're actually plays on the
handles of authors whom I respect. The only one that might be difficult
to figure out is the last; my hint is that in Chinese, the seven Dragon
Balls are known as Dragon's Eyes. The Amish in include only because I'm
bored.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
