(scratches head) Ano? What is everybody getting so worked up about?

Anyway, I want to post a story while I have the chance...

Wait. (searches frantically in computer files and starts bawling a la Soun
style) IT'S GONE! IT'S BEEN FIC-NAPPED!

(Mother comes into room with a broom) Out, please...

Yare yare. Let's compose a story on the spot instead. Mom? Fifteen minutes
please?

Mother: Fifteen minutes. I'll be timing you. (walks out)

A short fanfic by Sera-chan
Of no particular series, and for everyone reading this.

I don't expect C&C anyway.
Everybody belongs to anyone who created them.

Chou Kirachi was in a foul mood that morning, and everybody knew it, so
they gave him a wide berth. Shinigami's temper was not to be gotten on the
bad side of.
Some of his snappishness seemed to have carried over to his older brothers
and sister, because Hiei, the only one unaffected by the ammosity that
radiated from the little group, saw eyes narrowing and fists clenching. He
loosened his katana in its sheath, silently.
Sayoko's more ardent suitors chose this inopportune moment to set up their
daily attack.

"You see what you've done?!" Kuroken ranted angrily at his seething younger
sister. "You landed us all in trouble!"
Kurama wisely stayed out of the way for now, but he looked a bit white
around the lips. Hiei stood at his side, a deep frown wrinkling his forehead.
Kirachi was tensed and battle-ready, scythe in hand and humming eagerly.
Hinata, one of the older schoolgirls at Ryoken High, cupped her hands,
building layer upon layer of shielding around them, should they lose their
short tempers.

Fianlly, it happened. Hinata gritted her teeth and hung on, feeling her
barriers shatter one by one.
Kirachi locked blades with Kuroken, who raised his whip to block just in
time, both straining against each other. Sayoko was visibly trying to
restrain herself.
Hiei had to wrench his lover's arm around into a deadlock to prevent him
from summoning a horde of Makai plants.

A sharp reprimand from down the corridor did almost nothing to stop the
free-of-all. Seratia Ryuusen neatly blasted each of her four children into
separate walls, knocking them out, and growled, "NO fighting in the corridor."

Hinata stumbled over to lean against one of the walls, waving away her
teacher's hand. "I'm just tired," she huffed.
"Domo... they could have done some serious damage." Sera bowed formally.
"Gomen kudasai."
Hina blushed. "...betsuni..."

(Mother: Time's up.)
(Pleeeeeassssse...)
(Mother: (demon-head) OUT!)
((cowering) Yare yare...)
(Hafta end this quick.)

It was discovered later that the Demon Dragons were at their usual tricks
again. Hiei and the four children went to visit retribution on them- well,
actually only the children went, but Hiei disappeared, so the goddess
assumed that he had tagged along with them. After all, she smiled, Hiei was
a VERY good son-in-law to have.

No, this fic has nothing to do with the title. /_\ Gomen...
