The strictness of postable content depends on two things and two things
alone.  There are roughly one-thousand subscribers to this list, and the
median post is four kilobytes.  That might not sound like a whole lot, but
ask the guy who has to manage this mother.  It gets downright hectic.
Restrictions on post content were not placed to accomodate the
subscribers--the list moderator and caretaker need not accommodate the
subscriber beyond what could be reasonably expected from this sort of
mailing list.

Here are some interesting statistics about FFML's posting content.

Note: Used filtration algorithms to derive these figures.  Take into
account the possibility of double filtration on some messages.  Approximations
account for those unfiltered messages; derived by merely subtracting
filtered total from absolute total.
