the English language, perfect characterization, terrific imagery,

narratives...

..and it would still be horribly wrong, because it's a Pokemon darkfic.

Sorry. That's just my take on it.

There is interest for the darkside that some people would want to 
explore. It might be wrong to have evil pokemon trainers and burning 
villages, but some people might argue also that it is wrong to have 
Pokemon (just like animals) fight for sport. Which is IMO a dark side of 
the Pokemon world. 

Personally though, I'd really like to see more non-dark Pokemon fics, 
some waffy fics of Ash and Misty, even short ones would be nice.  

Oh yeah, Malaspina , you might want to begin your fic not with the long 
narrative of the man's past but rather start off the story with the 
present, then slowly reveal his past either by him telling us or through 
dreams/flashbacks rather than you tell us yourself. And you might want 
to fix your formatting a bit. Your lines read of my screen.
