  Okay, everybody, I think we proved Lurker's point EXACTLY. 
  WHY is everybody replying to the LIST? Send a note to HIM, not the ML. 
Do you REALLY want to contribute to the nasty monster known as SPAM? Do 
you REALLY want to prove that Lurker was right (about the spam volume)? 
Is this REALLY what you want out of this ML? 

  SPAM is generated on this ML because some people don't know when a 
topic has BECOME SPAM. By even the subject header the topic was SPAM, 
and yet everyone and their grandmother is producing MORE SPAM on the ML 
by simply replying to the list. 
  Please read the FFML FAQ and its position on SPAM. 
  This has been another exercise in interpretation.
