Interesting idea. As always  comments are IMO.

i didn't recall seeing a Spells R Us story dealing with the Ranmaverse.
considering the number of SRU stories on the web, it's a little surprising.
one can just imagine Happi shopping at SRU.

1) the presentation is a bit awkward. I LIKE the introduction. VERY
NICE opening scene. Interesting idea with the cards but the bit with
english seems forced. It would not be impossible to have Akane/neko
dip her paw in ink and write Kanji/katakana//hiragana

then the complaints about Akane-neko leaving kitty footprints on the
floor. i've written Japanese penpals using katakana, and they request
i use the kanji or English simply because they're so used to the common
kanji that seeing it in katakana doesn't immediately click.

2) Too much too fast. We have a two curses, one specific to Akane one
Universal (the entire Ranmaverse has changed) Nabiki is Ranma's
fiance, an Amazon, a manga writer . . .huff huff huff <exhausted
reader> ^_^

the "universe" effect is mentioned in a few of the Spells R Us stories.
college guy turned into _______ girl, finds that there are no records of him
ever being a guy, but as a girl her records go all the way back. Same with
the
human to animal stories.

and all from a "Kit-Kat" bar with teeny-tiny print on the back.

Overall I think it's a good idea. I look forward to the rest.
