Okay, after watching the revamped episodes of Evangelion last night (25 
and 26, Air and.... um.... my Pure Heart for You? Damn, can't 
remember), and a very intriguing statement made at that time by a 
friend of mine, I've got the seeds of an Eva fanfic rattling around in 
my head. But before I can try and exorcize this particular demon, I 
need some information. As this can be helpful to other Eva fanic 
writers, I think replies to the list should be alright. Unless the list 
mod thinks otherwise, that is...

Anyways, here are the questions :

1) Was there any particular naming scheme set to the Angels. That is, 
did the Dead Sea Scrolls tell what their names were, or were they 
assigned by NERV and/or SEELE accordingly?

2) Anybody know of anyplace where potential names for other Angels can 
be found, keeping with the "spirit" of the original names? In 
particular, I'm looking for a name that could be applied to a female 
Angel. I vaguely recall seeing something like this a long time ago, but 
damned if I can find it now.


Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
