Chapter 7 - A Day Out and About

[My turn!] Usagi declared and held out her hand. Misako looked
suspiciously at her for a moment before shrugging. Handing over the pad
and pencil, she shifted to a more comfortable position so she could
observe what her sister was writing.

Terra turned, the Guardian Earth Stone resting in the palm of
her hand. She looked between Mamoru and Will for a moment
before holding it out towards Will.

"Mamoru should have it," Will protested gently but Mamoru
shook his head. "You were Crown Prince," he countered.

"But you are my onii," Mamoru replied with a grin, "I insist
that you take the Guardian Earth Stone." When Will looked like
he was about to protest again, Mamoru added, "Please, Bauxite,
don't make me order you to take it."

Will sighed after a long moment of silence and then nodded.
"Very well," he said resolutely. Reaching out, he took the
Guardian Earth Stone. When his hands came in contact with the
brilliant jewel, a column of light sprang up around him and
     Will vanished!

Minako gave a surprised cry and stepped towards the pillar of
light. She gave a little gasp as the light vanished, as if
someone had flicked a switch. Her eyes widened as she saw
Prince Bauxite standing before her. His armor was no longer
the common black with silver. Instead, the armor appeared the
be emerald, the seams outlined in gold. The joints between the
plates of armor were fitted with some type of dark green
material that flexed with each supple move and yet defined his
     rippling muscles.

Usagi gave Misako, who was making gagging noises, a smug smile and
continued to write.

The Guardian Earth Stone formed the clasp of a blue cap, its
edges trimmed in gold. Not only was Bauxite's armor changed
but so was the Guardian Earth Stone. No longer did it look
like an unpolished bauble; for now, it appeared to be
magnificent. A faint green glow emanating power filled each
perfectly crafted facet. Clutching the Guardian Earth Stone
were two dragon claws, crafted in glittering gold and studded
     with tiny gems. Its...

[Kami-sama, 'Sagi, that's enough about the baka rock,] Misako stated
firmly.

[But, Imouto, I'm not even getting warmed up yet,] Usagi argued. Seeing
that Misako wasn't going to budge from her position, the teen sighed and
muttered out, [You're just jealous.]

"Onii-san..." Terra breathed happily, "That's amazing!" her
     eyes glittering with excitement.

"He looks SO hunky!" Minako sighed dreamily. Almost floating
over, she wrapped her arms around Bauxite and said softly,
"So, Will-chan, what are ya doing after the meeting?"

<I'm glad Luna isn't here,> Artemis thought as he covered his
head with his paws and groaned. <If we ever need Bauxite's
powers, we had better count on Venus being out of action.>
Venus would likely completely forget about the enemy and focus
all of her attention on her boyfriend. "I would suspect that
both Tuxedo Will and Tuxedo Kamen will receive the most
significant power-ups," Artemis speculated aloud, "I would
imagine that Prince Bauxite is now MORE powerful than Princess
     Serenity."

"Yeah, but is he going to walk around like that? That'd
attract attention faster than our fuku!" Makoto pointed out.

"Not a problem," Bauxite said before shifting back to his
regular Tuxedo Will form. The only change was the presence of
the Guardian Earth Stone that hung from a golden chain.

"Mamoru-kun, please transform," Macavity directed. Mamoru
nodded and taking out a rose, concentrated. As he shifted into
his Tuxedo Kamen form, there was a faint green glow for a
     moment before it fading.

"Wow, not much of a change," Usagi observed.

Misako glanced sternly over to Usagi. [Don't worry, Imouto,] Usagi told
her and winked. Misako grew a smile.

"And now you, Doug," Macavity requested. Nodding, Doug closed
his eyes in concentration and shifted into the guise of
     Obsidian.

"That was kinda anticlimactic," Makoto stated flatly, "Just a
bit of a glow." Glancing between Will and Doug, she added,
"I'd talk to the Guardian Earth Stone's creator about special
effects if I were you." Obsidian walked over and gave her a
kiss causing Makoto to lose her train of thought completely.

Macavity sighed and cleared his throat. "Let's continue, we
still have the Senshi to watch." He gave Makoto a leering
wink. She gave the cat dark look in return but nodded.
"Terra-chan, would you please transform?" Terra nodded and
stepped away from the table before turning to face Tuxedo
Will. "Now, you know what your transformation phrase is, ne?"

"Hai!" Terra chirped in response before shouting, "EARTH
GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE UP!" The magical
transformation light swirled around the little girl and she
vanished. In her stead, Sailor Earth stood, hands on hips,
     smiling happily.

Usagi heard Misako's giggling and tried to suppress her own.

Sailor Earth's fuku was very different from her old one. The
little gold cape that had sparkled had now lengthened,
stretching to just above her knees. The shine seemed to have
intensified as its golden sheen glittered in the light. Her
fuku skirt had taken on a trimming of brown with blues around
the hem. Her bodysuit had shifted to match the color of her
fuku skirt. The tiara that had graced her forehead was now a
tiny crown with a miniature Earth atop a slender spire of gold
     studded with small diamonds.

Sailor Earth staggered slightly while squeaking out, "It's
heavy!" Straightening the best she could, the child attempted
to walk. After a few wobbly steps, she lost her balance and
     tumbled to the floor.

"Are you okay, Terra-chan?" Tuxedo Will asked.

"I'm all right, Onii-san. I have simply not acclimated to the
additional weight of these accoutrements," Sailor Earth
explained while getting back to her feet. "It won't be any
     hindrance in combat."

<If she doesn't have to move,> Tuxedo Kamen thought.

Usagi turned to see Misako's head resting against her arms. Her small
frame shaking with mirth. [It isn't that funny!] Usagi protested with a
partial giggle. Trying to ignore her giggling sister, she continued to
write.

"Me next!" Usagi declared jumping up and down excitely, "Me
     next!"

     "Child," Rei muttered out.

"Go ahead, Onee-chan," Sailor Earth encouraged, "I bet you're
intelligent enough to know what to verbalize."

Usagi nodded rapidly before shouting, "MOON GUARDIAN EARTH
STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!" A shroud of pink light enveloped her
for a moment and then faded away. As the others in the room
got a look at Sailor Moon's new transformation, their eyes
expanded to unprecedented proportions. "GAAAAAAAA!!!!" Sailor
Moon screeched when she looked down at herself. "I don't
     believe it!"

Gone were her beautiful boots and multicolored fuku. Gone were
the beautiful flowing ribbons and gloves. Gone were her
delicate wings. Instead, Sailor Moon was dressed in a set of
pink boots. Her skirt was pink as were the ribbons in front
and back. A tiara graced her forehead where one had not been.
Her broach where the Ginzuishou lay had reverted back to a
     fairly plain looking one.

Whirling around, trying to see the extent of all the damage,
she caught her reflection in a mirror. "I LOOK LIKE
CHIBI-MOON!" Sailor Moon cried in terror. Not only was she
wearing an exact copy of the fuku Sailor Chibi-Moon wore when
they were fighting the Death Busters, but also her hair was
now done up in rabbit ear odangos. That horrible realization
was quickly overcome as she noticed that her hair was a
different color. "PINK?!?" Sailor Moon wailed, "I have PINK
HAIR?!?" Then she noticed something else, "I GOT CHIBI-USA'S
PIGTAILS?!?!" Sure enough, her long flowing pigtails were
replaced by her daughter's shorter and more boisterous ones.

"What do you know, maybe we can call her Sailor Flamingo Head,"
Rei quipped gazing at the strawberry-blonde Sailor Moon.

Usagi's writing was interrupted as Misako howled in mirth before giving
a yelp of surprise as she rolled off the bed and thudded to the floor.
Suddenly worried, Usagi asked, [Are you all right, Imouto?] Her sister's
giggling was her only response. Usagi struggled against her own mirth
but lost the battle. Breaking into laughter, she tossed the pad and
pencil aside and clutched her sides.

[Girls?] came the voice from the other side of the bedroom door. Both
Misako's and Usagi's heart leapt at the sound of their mother's voice.

[Hai?!] Usagi questioned.

Neo-Queen Serenity opened the door and regarded her two daughters. [It's
bedtime, Miko-chan.] Misako tried, and was unsuccessful at, stifling a
snicker. [What's so funny?] Serenity questioned.

[Nothing Okaa-san,] Usagi and Misako replied. Usagi quickly shoved the
notepad behind her under the bed.

Serenity gave her a curious look but said, [Come on, Usagi-chan. You can
let your imouto get some sleep.] Muttering darkly, Usagi got up and left
the room. [Konbanwa, Miko-chan.]

['Night, Okaa-san, Onee-chan,] Misako squeaked with a giggle. She had to
fight hard to keep from laughing anew. As soon as the door was closed,
Misako grabbed the pad and pencil before scrambling into bed and under
the covers. Flicking on a flashlight, she picked up where her sister
left off.

Fumbling for her broach, Sailor Moon raised it into the air
and cried out, "MOON ETERNAL MAKE-UP!" To her great surprise
and annoyance, nothing happened. "Come on, come on!" Sailor
Moon whined while slapping the Ginzuishou, "MOON ETERNAL
     MAKE-UP!" Again, nothing happened.

"Don't fret, Usagi-oneechan," Sailor Earth said quickly, "I
think you look kawaii!" Hotaru nodded in agreement. Sailor
Moon gave each girl a hopeful look and when Sailor Earth
nodded, she smiled. "I suggest that the others transform as
well." The five remaining Senshi looked at each other before
shrugging and lifting up their henshin pens.

"VENUS GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!"
"JUPITER GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!"
"MARS GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!"
"MERCURY GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!"
"SATURN GUARDIAN EARTH STONE POWER, MAKE-UP!"

The others closed their eyes as the room was flooded with a
spectrum of magical light. One by one, the girls vanished to
be replaced by the respective Senshi. When the light faded,
the others gave a gasp of surprise. While the changes weren't
as significant as Sailor Moon's or Sailor Earth's, they were
     still drastic.

Their skirts appeared to glitter in the light, as it was
studded with gems. Around the hem, there was a thin band of
green. No matter what the previous footwear was, they all now
wore shining boots of their respective colors. The short
square piece of the neckline had extended into a cape that
ended just above the knee. Like Sailor Earth, they each had a
tiara with a miniature version of their planet. Their gloves
and bodysuits as well as the bows they sported remained
     unchanged.

Artemis by this point had crawled under a chair. He hadn't
approved of Bauxite's costume, mainly because it was a major
distraction to Venus. But when the Senshi transformed, it was
even worse. <Oh they look like characters from that gaudy show
made by Saban!> Artemis thought as he tried to convince
himself that it was a nightmare. <Luna's not going to like
this, not one bit!> Macavity, on the other hand, was sitting
on his haunches with a rather stupid looking grin on his face.

[Too bad 'Sagi's not here, she'd love this stuff,] Misako snickered to
herself.

Sailor Mars was about to make an acidic comment on their new
attire when Hino-ojiisan walked into the room. "Tsukino-san,
you have a call. Do you want me to tell them you're busy?"
While the others looked at Hino-ojiisan with surprise and
     shock, Mars groaned slightly.

"How..." Sailor Venus started to say but caught herself. It
was too late though, Hino-ojiisan had turned to look at her.

"You were wondering, Aino-san, how I know, ne?" Numbly Sailor
Venus nodded. "Mizuno-san dropped this once," Hino-ojiisan
explained as he walked over and handed Sailor Venus a small
piece of paper. "Seems she keeps forgetting who each of you
are." Sure enough, it was a list of the Senshi containing
their civilian names, addresses, and their Senshi identities.

"Oh, so that's where it went," Sailor Mercury muttered out and
took the paper out of Venus' hand. "Good thing I had a copy
     saved."

"Hino-ojiisan, you said I had a call?" Sailor Moon questioned.
At his nod, Sailor Moon added, "Okay, I'll go see who it is
then. Arigato." While Sailor Moon left the room to see who was
calling her, the others turned to question Sailor Mercury
     about the list.

While the Senshi and Artemis were looking over the Guardian
Earth Stone, Luna was having a conversation with Diana. The
two Lunar Cats were sitting in one of the kitchen's windows as
that was the best place to sunbathe while they talked.

"Now, kitten," Luna began, "What on earth has gotten into
you?" Diana sighed and slowly shook her head. "Now you really
     aren't a Sailor Senshi, ne?"

"Mama... I don't know why I thought I was," Diana began softly
as she stared at the windowsill. "I knew I wasn't a Senshi...
I think it was just a game we used to play when I was little,
     me and Princess Usagi."

"Diana, is there something wrong?" Luna asked gently.
"Something you can tell me about the future."

Diana stared out the window for a long moment before
answering, "Princess Usagi is going through a rough period
right now. She's suffering from genetic clumsiness. At first,
I started acting clumsy to make her feel better." Giving her
mother a sheepish grin, she added, "But I suppose I got so
used to it that it's natural."

Luna frowned slightly, craned her neck, and then nuzzled her
daughter for a moment. "Oh Diana-chan, I think it's nice that
you're trying to help Chibi-U... Princess Usagi out, but maybe
you could do a better job if you were just supportive." Diana
gave her a quizzical look so she added, "Did you ever think
that what you're doing when you klutz out is reminding
     Princess Usagi of her problem?"

Diana looked genuinely surprised by this statement. "I never
thought about it like that. Instead of helping her, I might
     have just intensified the problem."

Her eyes widened in further shock when Luna muttered, "I
     wouldn't worry about that."

"Mama!" Diana protested but wasn't able to say more as at that
     moment, the phone rang.

"Come along, Diana-chan, we've spent enough time away from the
Senshi. Let's go see what trouble Usagi's gotten herself
     into."

"How do you know Usagi's gotten herself into trouble?" Diana
     asked.

"Well something you were saying about genetics. Besides, I
think that was her screaming earlier," Luna speculated before
hopping off of the windowsill and walking from the room, Diana
     close behind her.

"Moshi moshi!" Sailor Moon said after picking up the receiver.

"Sailor Moon?" a female voice asked.

"Um... it depends... Who is this?" Sailor Moon asked.

     "It's Crystal," the voice replied.

"Oh, konnichiwa Crystal-chan! Hai, it's Sailor Moon," Sailor
Moon replied, "So what's happening? You taking out any more
     prisons?"

"Nah," Crystal said, "I got somethin' more impor... special to
     do today."

"Nani?" Usagi asked curiously, "What is it?"

"I'm chall... challengin' the Senshi to a battle," Crystal
said sweetly, "There's a youma in the park and I'll be waitin'
at the mall. You can either come 'n' save the mall, or ya can
     go 'n' save the park."

"Um, okay... Could you give us a couple of minutes to think
     about it?"

"Hai, I'll give you a minute," Crystal replied, "Ja ne!" With
that, she hung up the phone.

"Ja..." Sailor Moon replied. Turning, she walked back into the
room where the other Senshi and the guys were. "Minna-san,
that was Crystal." All conversation stopped as every set of
eyes swung to look at Sailor Moon. "She says she wants to
fight us. But there's a problem, there's a youma at the park
     and Crystal's at the mall."

"Well, now what do we do?" Sailor Mars queried.

"We go save the mall of course!" the pink Sailor Moon
     retorted, "Then we go shopping!"

Tuxedo Will, seeing that Mars was going to throttle Sailor
Moon, suggested, "Us guys and Sailor Earth will go to the
     park."

"But I desire to accompany Usagi-oneechan," Sailor Earth
whined, "I want to throttle Crystal!"

"Iie, you're coming with us," Tuxedo Kamen insisted, "We know
you aren't that strong and I want to keep an eye on you."

"Aw nuts!" Sailor Earth and Sailor Moon pouted.

Misako yawned, blinked her eyes, and slowly lowered her head onto her
pillow before falling asleep. It was sometime later that evening that
Misako's door slowly opened and Usagi crept into the room. After
carefully searching, she located the pad and pencil and took them.
Smiling contentedly at her sleeping sister, Usagi quietly crept out of
the room again and went into her own bedroom. After settling down, she
prepared to write, but first she looked over what Misako had added.

"We'll teleport to the park," Tuxedo Kamen suggested. Sailor
Moon blinked in surprise. Guessing the question, she was about
to ask, he added, "It must have been the Guardian Earth
     Stone."

"So Tuxedo Will can teleport all by himself too?" Venus asked.

"Hai," Tuxedo Will responded, sounding slightly nervous, "Why?

"'Cuz," Venus purred, "We can sneak out at night and then you
can teleport me to my room... and my parents won't be any the
     wiser."

"Hmmm... That would make for an interesting date," Jupiter
added seeing Obsidian's quizzical look, "I know I live alone
but it's certainly one way to put a little danger into our
     relationship."

"Yeah, especially if you materialize inside a wall," Mars
remarked dryly. "Enough talking, let's go to the mall!"

"'Kay, I'll call us a cab," Sailor Moon chirped but Sailor
     Mercury halted her. "Nani?"

"You can run or you'll get fat."

"I never get fat!" Sailor Moon protested.

[Wanna bet?!] Usagi stated with a snicker.

"What's happening?!?" Sailor Moon demanded as her body started
to expand. "Mercury, what's going on?"

Mercury activated her visor and started a scan. After a few
moments, she explained, "It appears that you are accumulating
fat at an exponential rate. Your body mass has already
doubled. Likely some kind of side effect of the Guardian Earth
Stone." She clamped her hands over her ears as Sailor Moon
     started wailing loudly.

"Let's go stop that maniac before she blows up the clothing
stores," Mars commanded. Grabbing Sailor Moon's hand, she
bolted out the room, dragging the expanding Senshi behind her.
     "Come on, chubby."

"Good luck!" Obsidian called, "They're going to need it. Well
let's get this over with." Tuxedo Kamen and Tuxedo Will
nodded. "Tuxedo Will, you can go first. I'll follow and Tuxedo
Kamen and Sailor Earth can teleport together."

"Sounds good to me, Obsidian," Tuxedo Will agreed and after a
moment of concentration, winked out of sight.

When Tuxedo Will arrived at the park, he was nearly trampled
by people attempting to flee the area. He looked around but
didn't see anything out of the ordinary. When the others
arrived shortly after him, he turned and said, "I don't see
     any youma."

"Onii-san," Sailor Earth called, "The youma is over there!"
Tuxedo Will turned and looked to where she was pointing.

"How'd you miss that?" Obsidian questioned as he stared at in
surprise at the six-foot tall pink bunny rabbit. It had long
whiskers and its cute nose wiggled as it hugged someone.

"I thought it might have been you," Tuxedo Will replied with a
grin. Obsidian gave him a sour look so he amended, "I mean it
didn't seem... er, forget it... What is it doing?"

"Onii-san, I believe it is attempting to show its affection,"
Sailor Earth stated. All of them winced as the youma released
its current victim and scooped up two police officers in a
     giant hug.

"The youma is draining off the people's energy as it hugs
them," Macavity clarified, "I would recommend extreme
     caution."

"Sailor Earth, you go with Tuxedo Kamen," Tuxedo Will
directed, "Try and circle around behind it. Obsidian,
Macavity, and I will approach it from the front."

"WE will?" Obsidian questioned, "I'd rather eat Minako's
     cooking."

"Trust me, you wouldn't," Tuxedo Will replied as his face
     turned green.

After splitting up, Obsidian, Macavity, and Tuxedo Will made
their way towards the giant pink bunny. It turned to face them
and as they drew closer, it started to expand.

"Kami-sama," Obsidian remarked, "It's like Sailor Moon!" While
Macavity was confused by this comment, Tuxedo Will only
     offered a snicker.

Usagi's head snapped around towards the door when she heard it open. She
blushed a little when she saw it was her mother. [Come on, Usagi-chan,
it's getting late. Turn off the lights and go to sleep.] To enforce her
point, Serenity walked towards the bed. Usagi quickly hid the pad and
pencil before settling into her bed. [Konbanwa, Mesume, and pleasant
dreams.] Giving her daughter a kiss on the forehead, Serenity gave her a
small smile and walked from the room. Yawning once, Usagi drifted off to
sleep herself.

Usagi's next waking sensation was of a soft jiggling. Slowly opening her
eyes, she noticed that Misako was sitting on the floor leaning against
the bed. Shifting towards her sister a little, Usagi groggily noticed
that Misako was writing their story once again. Giving a little sigh,
she rolled over and let her sister write. It was just too early to do
anything but sleep.

"For disturbing these people's peace on this fine day, I AM
TUXEDO WILL! AND IN THE NAME OF THE PLANET EARTH, I WILL MAKE
BUNNY STEW OUT OF YOU!" Much to their surprise, the youma gave
a cute little giggle and started hopping towards them. "Stay
back!" Tuxedo Will commanded as he unleashed a flurry of pink
     buttercups.

"I don't believe it!" Macavity cried as the youma gathered the
buttercups up and sniffed them. Its nose stopped wiggling for
a moment but then continued. It gave a little giggle and
started sprinkling buttercup petals over the ground as it
     hopped.

     "Kawaii...." it warbled.

     "Obsidian, stop it!" Macavity commanded.

"Hai!" Obsidian replied. Stepping forward, a new attack sprang
into his mind. "LUNAR THUNDER BUNNY CLOUD!" A giant pink cloud
appeared over the youma. As it looked up, several dozen
glowing bunny rabbits slowly drifted out of the cloud. The
youma grew a large grin on its face and reaching up, tried to
greet the kawaii critters... That's the moment they all
     exploded.

With a roar, the Youma Bunny hopped a mighty bound and was
standing in front of them. Picking Obsidian up, the youma gave
the Lunar Knight a crushing bear... bunny hug. "I think you
made it mad," Tuxedo Will observed as he tired to figure out
     what to do.

"You... think... so?" Obsidian questioned in a rasping voice.
He let out a gasp of pain as the youma screeched and tightened
its grip. Blackness overtook him as he fell towards the
     ground.

Misako giggled. Usagi only mumbled, [Please let me sleep a few more
minutes, Mommy,] and she rolled onto her side. Misako giggled again but
decided to press on.

As the youma turned around, Tuxedo Will could see that Tuxedo
Kamen had launched a massive spread of roses against the
youma, most of which had found their mark.

"Youma who scare little girls and give my girlfriend a bad
name, you will pay!" Tuxedo Kamen cried out while running
     towards the youma.

"Not kawaii!" the youma yelled in a high-pitched voice.
Reaching backwards, it grabbed the first thing it found, which
happened to be Tuxedo Will, and tossed him at Tuxedo Kamen.

"Nani?!?" both tuxedo-clad figures questioned. Without regard
to the danger to himself, Tuxedo Kamen made a heroic leaping
bound catching his brother in midair and settling him safely
on the ground. "Arigato Otouto," was all Tuxedo Will could say
although it seemed inadequate compared to the great deed.

"You leave my onii alone!" Sailor Earth demanded of the youma.

"Kawaii!" the youma declared and went hopping towards Sailor
     Earth.

"Sailor Earth!" Tuxedo Will called out, "Be careful!"

"Stay away!" Sailor Earth warned but the youma kept coming.
"Onii-san, help me!" Sailor Earth cried out as the frightening
rabbit came closer. It towered over the small child. Both men
rushed the youma, only to be sent flying when they were kicked
by the one of the rabbit's powerful hind legs. "WILL! MAMORU!"
Sailor Earth cried as she watched her brothers sail through
the air and then hit the water of the lake with a resounding
     splash!

The youma paused in its advance when a look of anger crossed
Sailor Earth's face. The little Senshi balled up her fists and
screwed up her face in rage. "YOU HURT MY ONII!" the five year
old Senshi shouted at the youma, "I WILL EXACT VENGEANCE FOR
THAT!!!!" Concentrating, she drew all the power she could
muster, building it towards one attack to blow away this evil
     creature. "EARTH MAGMA DISPLACEMENT!"

The resulting explosion blew Sailor Earth backwards. She went
skidding along the ground for several feet. The youma didn't
even have time to scream as a fountain of spewing magma
swallowed it instantly incinerating it. The resulting earth
tremors heavily damaged several buildings within the
surrounding area and nearly drained the lake of all its water
as a large wave moved away from the epicenter. Her two
brothers forced to body surf along it ending up several
hundred yards away. Sailor Earth only had one word for the
     effects of her attack, "Awesome!"

Misako was soon rolling on the floor while clutching her sides. Her
peals of laughter finally caused her groggy sister to stir. [Baka
Misako!] Usagi grumbled out. Picking up her pillow, she threw it at
Misako before getting up and stumbling sleepily towards the bathroom.

[Gomen 'Sagi!] Misako called out from underneath her sister's pillow.
Trying to control her giggles, she picked up the pad and pencil and went
back to writing.

After a moment or so, Sailor Earth's awe slipped away, instead
to be replaced by worry and fear. She only saw two familiar
figures when she scanned the area. It was Obsidian lying on
the ground with Macavity sitting next to him. Scrambling to
her feet, her bottom lip starting to tremble, she ran towards
him. The Lunar Knight began to stir and by the time that
Sailor Earth reached him, Obsidian had pushed himself into a
     sitting position.

"Obsidian! Macavity!" Sailor Earth called, worry evident in
her tone, "Are you injured?!?" Sailor Earth inquired as she
     rushed over to her friends.

"Iie," Obsidian said while shaking his head, "Oh! Shouldn't
have done that." Looking up, he lifted his helmet visor and
gave the child a grin. "So wha' happened?" <That youma really
packed a wallop!> Sailor Earth suddenly looked guilty and
placed her hands behind her back. Biting her lower lip, she
looked towards the ground while shifting from one foot to the
other. "Kami-sama!" he exclaimed as he looked around the
devastated area, "What happened?!?" The youma seemed to have
     really ripped the place apart.

"I didn't intend to!" Sailor Earth declared, lifting her head
up. Obsidian could see the tears in her eyes. "I was
frightened and I thought that demonic creature would injure
Will and Mamoru." Her glistening eyes widened as she asked,
"Where are they? What if they're hurt?!" Grabbing Obsidian's
arm, she tried to tug him into a standing position while
pleading, "Come on, Doug-ojisan, we must go investigate!"

"I'm in no shape to move, Sailor Earth," Obsidian protested as
a headache pounded through his skull and he felt slightly
dizzy, not unlike after a collision with his twin sister.

"But I must locate them!" Sailor Earth cried. Tears were now
racing from her sad green eyes and down her cheeks.

"We're right here, Sailor Earth," came a male voice. The
little Senshi whirled around and saw that both of her brothers
     were walking towards her.

"Onii-san! Mamo-oniichan!" the little girl cried and ran
towards her brothers. She jumped up and clung to Tuxedo
Kamen's neck while burying her facing into his chest. "Gomen
     nasai!"

"It's okay, Terra-chan," Tuxedo Kamen soothed, "We're all
right." He held his sister close and tried to reassure the
child. "We did a quick check; no one was hurt. The police
cleared the area out when they realized it was a youma."

Sniffling a little, Sailor Earth raised her head and asked,
     "What about the buildings though?"

"Come here, Imouto," Tuxedo Will instructed and held out his
arms. Sailor Earth transferred to her other brother who gave
her a hug. "I don't think they'll care about the damage.
Probably they'd rather have damaged buildings than a youma
     running around."

"And that brings me to my own question," Tuxedo Kamen said to
Macavity, "I thought our attacks would be stronger because of
the power-up from the Guardian Earth Stone."

"They were," Macavity replied with confidence.

"Then why didn't our attacks have any effect on the youma?"
     Tuxedo Will followed up.

"Your attacks were stronger; I could sense that. Also, you
were able to manifest a larger number of flowers, ne?" Both
tuxedo-clad heroes nodded. "It was just that this particular
youma was much stronger than any other youma you've ever
faced. Crystal gave it a massive amount of power and it was
draining even more energy from its victims. I'm just glad that
Sailor Earth could generate that type of power to defeat it."
He hated to admit it but he was proud of the little girl.

Obsidian, getting up, walked as close as he dared to the
smoking crater where the youma had been. Peering through the
smoke that was slowly billowing up into the air, Obsidian saw
the cooling lava and whistled. "That's one hell of a hot
foot," Obsidian observed to himself. Turning back to the
others, he said, "If we had a hard time with the youma, I
wonder how the girls are doing at the mall..."

[Miko-chan! Usagi-chan! Come and have breakfast!] Serenity's voice
called from the other side of the bedroom door.

[Hai Okaa-san!] Misako chirped.

[Be right there!] Usagi added then muttered out, [Just when it was
getting good too.] Putting the pad and pencil down on her sister's
nightstand, Misako stood up and stretched. That's when Usagi tackled
her.

[Hey!] Misako protested as her sister pinned her to the bed and glared
menacingly at her. [What gives?!]

[Misako,] Usagi began with deadly sweetness, [I just want you to know
that you and me are gonna have a little talk about my "genetic
clumsiness".] Giving her sister an evil smile, she got up and headed for
the door. [You won't know when or where but we WILL be speaking about
it.]

[Onee-chan!] Misako protested while scrambling after her sister. Despite
the ominous threat, Misako couldn't help but smile. A short time ago,
Usagi would never have dared make such a threat. It just proved that
Usagi was realizing how secure both of them had become with each other.
Grinning broadly, Misako headed for breakfast.

It was during breakfast that the girls found out that they would have
most of the day to themselves. Their parents had matters of State to
attend to, in other words, both girls would have the run of the Royal
Suite. After their parents had departed, Usagi turned to Misako and
said, [Mother's acting funny.]

[Yeah, I know,] Misako agreed, [We can't do much about it though.]

[It's just a trick,] Usagi replied. Not wanting to get too depressed,
she placed her dirty dishes into the sink and headed for her room. [Come
on, Miko-chan, it's my turn to write.] Misako grinned and followed her
sister; things were certainly getting interesting.

While the Tuxedo Kamen, Tuxedo Will, Obsidian, and Sailor
Earth rushed to the park, the Sailor Senshi rushed towards the
mall, or at least three of them did. Sailor Venus, Sailor
Jupiter, and Sailor Saturn were sent ahead to assess any
damage that Crystal may have already inflicted. They were also
sent ahead to stall Crystal while Sailor Mercury and Sailor
Mars tried to "persuade" Sailor Moon to hurry along.

In addition, Sailor Mars was concerned about other side
effects of the Guardian Earth Stone. Sailor Moon had always
been able to run. She had gained plenty of practice by running
away from enemies, running to keep from being late to school,
and the like; now, however, Sailor Moon hadn't even dashed
three blocks and was already starting to run out of breath.
The accumulation of fat on the once petite Senshi had stopped
when Sailor Moon had reached triple her normal weight. So what
little breath she was able to catch was spent on whining about
her condition rather than physical movement.

In spite of all this, the three Sailor Senshi had made it
halfway to the mall with only a minimum amount of trouble.
That's when things took a turn for the worse.

"SUGOI!" Sailor Moon cried out, her eyes enlarging as she
clapped her hands together, "Get a load of that ice cream
parlor!" Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury looked up in horror at
the shop that was across the street. A large sign read,
"Today's Special: all you can eat ice cream for four hundred
yen! Sailor Senshi eat free!" Before either Senshi could stop
her, Sailor Moon bolted across the road, narrowly missing a
car, and waddled into the ice cream parlor screaming, "I'M A
Sailor Senshi! I'M A SAILOR SENSHI!"

[Oh you're mean...] Misako ventured with a grin. Usagi gave her sister a
wink while snickering.

While Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury chased after their
ravenous leader, the other Sailor Senshi met with Crystal at
the main entrance to the mall.

"Hiya!" Crystal sang happily while waving her hand, "Where's
     Sailor Moon?"

"She'll be along, Crystal-chan," Venus answered. Looking
around, she noted that people weren't screaming and there
wasn't any apparent damage to the mall. "I thought you were
     attacking this place?"

Crystal furrowed her brow and remarked, "Ne, did that baka
Sailor Moon tell ya I was attacking the mall?"

"We assumed you were," Sailor Jupiter replied.

Crystal stuck her tongue out in defiance before saying, "I
wanna fight you, not mess up the mall." Sighing a little and
twirling some of her long red hair, she said, "I'm bored...
What's taking Sailor Moon so long?!?"

"We could go shopping while we wait," Sailor Venus suggested.
     <I need a new outfit anyway.>

"Oh yeah!" Crystal's eyes gleamed, "I wanna show you a place
where you can take a bath in mud." The Senshi gave her a
quizzical look so she prodded, "Come on, I'll show you."
Turning, Crystal walked into the mall and after a moment, the
     three Senshi followed behind her.

[Usagi...] Misako hissed but her sister just continued writing.

"Here it is," Crystal announced happily after a few minutes,
     "Read the sign!"

Luna, who was sitting on Venus' shoulder, read aloud, "Exotic
Mud Baths. Grand Opening. Come in and visit the House of
     Misako."

Usagi broke out into a fit of giggles as Misako attempted to hit her
with a pillow but missed.

"Um... I don't think so," Sailor Saturn commented, "I don't
     really like getting dirty."

"Yeah," Sailor Venus agreed, "Let's say we go check out the
clothing stores!" Crystal's eyes lit up and she nodded
eagerly, "You coming?" Venus asked looking at Jupiter and
     Saturn.

"I think I'll go look at the greenhouse they had setup
     outside."

"Hai, Jupiter, I'll come with you," Saturn piped in, "Maybe I
can find something with a little color in it to give to
Shingo-oniichan." With that being decided, the Senshi split up
     and headed towards their destinations.

Sailor Saturn was having fun shopping with Jupiter. And at
first, Venus and Crystal seemed to be pretty much in line on
what to wear. That was until they spotted a bright leather
     dress with a "V" neckline.

"Kawaii! Now this is a definite buy!" Crystal declared as she
     picked it up.

"Are you kidding?!?" Venus demanded, "How could you walk
around in that thing?" She then thought, <You'd probably get
     arrested too.>

"Baka," Crystal said, "You take teeny tiny steps." Holding out
the dress for Venus, she suggested, "Why don't ya try it on?
It would be kawaii on you."

"Me?" Venus squeaked, "I don't think so, Crystal-chan. My
parents would kill me." Crystal was stopped from responding
when Venus turned to look towards the doorway. "Nani? What's
     that?'

"Sounds like somebody hollerin'," Crystal responded as she
stepped up beside Venus. "Or cryin'..." she amended. <What an
     awful noise!>

As it turned out, it was both. Sailor Mars was doing most of
the yelling while Sailor Moon, being thoroughly upset, was
doing most of the wailing. Crystal stared at the pink laden
fuku and short pigtailed hair of the obese Sailor Moon for
several seconds before starting to giggle.

"IT AIN'T FUNNY!" Sailor Moon yelled as she stomped her foot
causing her huge belly and bosom to jiggle like Jell-O. Her
face and fuku were stained with ice cream. "IT AIN'T FUNNY!"
This just caused Crystal to laugh even harder. Sailor Moon
crossed her arms and started to sulk.

At that moment, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Saturn walked into
the store. "I thought it was you, Sailor Moon. Nobody has as
loud a wail as you," Jupiter commented. Sailor Moon stuck her
tongue out at Jupiter before going back to sulking.

"Kami-sama, Odango Atama, wipe your mouth!" Mars commanded as
she handed Sailor Moon a napkin, "Do you realize you nearly
put that store out of business?!?"

"WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS SO MEAN TO ME?!!!" Sailor Moon wailed, a
fountain of tears pouring from her eyes.

"What a big baby," Crystal observed. <A VERY big baby.>

     "AM NOT!"

     "ARE TOO!"

     "AM NOT!"

"ARE TOO! ARE TOO! ARE TOO!'

Sailor Moon glared at Crystal and huffed, "Okay, let's fight!"

"'Kay!" Crystal chirped, "Since you're the good guys, I'll let
     you do your speeches."

     "Arigato. I am Sailor Moon..."
     "Sailor Mars!"
     "Sailor Mercury!"
     "Sailor Jupiter!"
     "Sailor Venus!"
     "Sailor Saturn!"

"And for making fun of me..." Sailor Moon stopped her speech
as Mars poked her, "Oh yeah and menacing innocent people, I AM
THE PRETTY SUITED SOLDIER SAILOR MOON! IN THE NAME OF THE
MOON, WE WILL PUNISH YOU!" Crystal's only response was to yawn
     with boredom.

"MERCURY SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!" Mercury shouted and after
firing off her attack, blinked. "Nani?" she said puzzled,
"That wasn't what I expected." The only effect of her attack
was to annoy Crystal, who was now completely soaked.

Sailor Mars snickered before saying, "Watch how a pro does
it!" Stepping forwards, she shouted out, "BURNING MANDALA!"
Crystal wasn't stupid; she jumped away from the fiery attack.
Smoke billowed up as clothing caught fire. A few moments
later, the sprinkler system kicked in and the fire alarms
     started ringing.

"Naughty girl!" Crystal taunted, "Mommy said you shouldn't
play with fire!" Pulling out Rei-chan #2, who was wearing a
mini-combat helmet, she ordered, "Rei-chan, get her!" Much to
Mars' surprise, the teddy bear flew out of Crystal's hand and
     raced towards her.

"MARS FLAME SNIPER!" Mars cried but nothing happened. A second
later, Rei-chan #2 tackled Mars, sending the Senshi of Fire
     sprawling.

     "Jupiter, combined attack!" Venus cried.

     "Right!" Jupiter agreed.

"VENUS CUPID'S BOW!" Venus cried, a golden bow similar to
Mars' Flame Sniper appeared in Venus' hand. Mounted atop the
arrow was a giant pink heart.

"JUPITER RAINFOREST SYMPHONY!" A greenish lute appeared
between Jupiter's hands and as she strummed it, tiny water
droplets started to form. As the droplets rushed towards
Crystal, the note of an instrument sounded. First one
instrument and then another. What seemed both like an instant
and an eternity passed as a literal symphony crashed over
Crystal in the form of rain.

Crystal's sense of fear, upon hearing the boom of the kettle
drums as they rolled like thunder, kicked into action. She
stood rooted to the spot, eyes wide, bottom lip trembling,
unable to move. She held that pose until the combined attack
slammed into her a few seconds later.

"OWIE! OWIE! OWIE!" Crystal yelled while hopping up and down,
"THAT HURT!" she exclaimed angrily to Jupiter and Venus. <That
     wasn't very nice.>

"Saturn, take her down!" Sailor Moon commanded.

"Gomen, I can't do that. It'd cause too much damage and might
hurt innocent people," Saturn replied her glaive poised in her
hands, "I'm afraid you'll have to do it, Sailor Moon."

"Right!" Sailor Moon agreed, "I can do this!" Taking a step
forward, she reached up for her wand and shouted out her
attack, "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!" As the sugary hearts raced
towards their target, Sailor Moon's brain was screaming in
     horror.

"Stop that!" Crystal giggled as the sugar hearts tickled her,
     "Stop that!"

[I didn't think your attack was that weak, 'Sagi,] Misako observed.

[It's not,] Usagi replied, [But this one is.]

"I HAVE THE SPORE'S ATTACK?!?" Sailor Moon demanded in
disbelief, "I HATE THAT GUARDIAN EARTH STONE!" She would have
set off into another bout of wailing if Crystal hadn't started
laughing hysterically. "What's so funny?!?" Sailor Moon
     demanded with a pout.

"BIG bad Sailor Moon... powerless!" Crystal managed to say in
between fits of mirth, "It's amazin' you could beat Mommy."
Clutching her sides, she nearly fell over as her laughter took
     over once again.

"You... you... Minna, Sailor Planet Attack!" Sailor Moon
     commanded. <I'll show her who's powerless!>

The other Sailor Senshi gathered around her and clasped hands.
First one and then the others called out their transformation
phrase as they linked energy to complete the Planet Attack. As
Sailor Moon completed the hated transformation phrase, all of
the Senshi yelled, "SAILOR PLANET ATTACK!" The magical
energies rushed upwards as they had before. Arcing energy then
rushed down on to Crystal who was slammed into the floor.

"DUSTED!" Sailor Moon declared with a happy grin as they
stared at the twitching form of Crystal. <Now I can go get
some lunch.> Her smile slipped, however, when Crystal slowly
pushed herself up. The Senshi took a step backwards as
Crystal's smoldering eyes regarded them with pain and hatred.

"That... hurt!" Crystal whispered out in an angry tone with
tears running down her cheeks. Energy outlined her aura as she
gathered her power. Her eyes bore into the Senshi, showing
pure hatred. "I'm gonna make you pay!!!!" Screwing up her face
in concentration, she manifested a ball of dark pink energy
before her. "ULTIMATE KAWAII ATTACK!" Crystal screamed before
slamming the energy sphere at the feet of the surprised
Senshi. The energy blast blew the Senshi backwards, slamming
them into walls and through display cases.

Crystal, who had also been knocked backwards by her attack,
pushed herself up and smiled. "Goody, now I'll finish..." She
paused and lifted Rei-chan #2 up. Cocking her head, she
listened for several seconds before whining, "Nani? Nap
time?!" She pouted as she listened some more. "Hai, Rei-chan,
I'll go home and take my nap." <I was so close too!> Pouting a
little more, she opened a portal to the Dark Kingdom and
     walked through it.

Venus groaned before painfully raising herself off a clothing
rack. "That was ANYTHING but kawaii," she muttered out while
rubbing the back of her head. "Why did she name her attack
     that?"

"I believe," Mercury began in a halting voice, "That it has
something to do with our recent change in apparel."

"Nani?" Venus' eyes slowly opened. Wincing, she sat up and
slowly looked around. "Kami-sama..." she exclaimed in horror,
     "It's... it's..."

"HORRIBLE!" Mars roared as the realization of what she was
wearing dawned on her. Gone was the flashy fuku created by the
Guardian Earth Stone. Gone were the cape, boots, gloves, and
tiara. Instead of her Sailor fuku, Mars, in fact all of the
Senshi except Sailor Moon, were wearing frilly pink party
dresses that parents often forced their little girls to wear.
Black buckled shoes and white knee socks replaced the boots.
Painted freckles adorned each of their faces. Each girl's hair
was done up in pigtails and, if they were long enough, pink
bows adorned them while a teddy bear was tucked under each
     one's arm.

Sailor Moon lay flat on her back. Her fuku had simply shifted
color. Now instead of a pastel pink, it was very neonic in
color, although she had a teddy bear as well.

While the Senshi assessed the situation, a crowd started to
form, both wanting to help the very cute Senshi as well as get
autographs signed. As Sailor Moon wailed for someone to help
her up, Mars covered her ears and rolled into a ball.

"Make it stop!" Mars cried out, "MAKE IT STOP!" Luckily the
crowd had grown and there were two strong men to pull the
struggling Sailor Moon to her feet. Immediately as the Sailor
Senshi was settled onto her feet, her crying ceased.

"Let's go shopping!" Sailor Moon declared happily while
holding up the teddy bear Crystal had given her. <Maybe we can
get a bunny to go with my present and then, eat...>

"IIE!" Mars shouted and leapt to her feet, "We're going back
to the shrine." Noticing that Sailor Moon wasn't paying
attention to her, she grabbed the teddy bear out of her
leader's chubby hands while saying, "GIVE ME THAT!" Before
Sailor Moon could do anything, Mars had shredded the teddy
     bear to bits.

"REI!!!!" Sailor Moon wailed, "YOU KILLED MY TEDDY BEAR!!!!"

"Come on, PINKY-USA," Mars growled while grabbing her leader's
arm, "Let's get out of here." And with that, the Senshi began
     to leave.

[Ne, Onee-chan, what about before?] Misako questioned somewhat confused.
Usagi gave her a blank look so she clarified, [Why didn't the crowds
gather before, when the Senshi first got to the mall?]

[Don't you ever wish you could shop normally?] Usagi retorted.

[But Sailor Senshi attract crowds,] Misako insisted, [So why not when
the Senshi arrived and were shopping?]

Usagi sighed a little and said, [Miko-chan, wouldn't you like to be able
to go out to a mall with your friends like you did in the past? Don't
you miss being able to go to a movie without bodyguards?]

Misako, after a moment's thought, shrugged. [It doesn't really bother
me, 'Sagi-chan. I'm a princess and it's just something I have to deal
with.] She wasn't about point out that she didn't attract crowds like
her sister did. [But if you want to have it where the Senshi attract a
crowd later, I won't complain.]

[I think I'll go get a drink. You can write some, Misako,] Usagi
suggested and handing the pad and pencil to her sister, left the room.
Misako looked after her sister for a moment, thinking that Usagi would
always have a rough time being cooped up like she was. Just like their
mother, Usagi thrived on friendship. It was at that moment that the
phone rang.
