Hmmm... perhaps Akane uses whatever is handy at the time... if nothing,
then out comes the mallet.
My person theory is that Akane uses whatever is deemed most humorous by
Takahashi at the time of the scene.  This would as well stand true to
the other characters.  Just a theory, of course....
Whoever said all that about going through the manag and detailing all
the uses of mallets has *way* too much time on their hands.  Do some
charity work or something, will ya?
