I've no idea how much time has passed since the events of "Little Girl
Lost" but it was interesting to see the character development that's taken
place 'off-screen' between these two fics. 

These people aren't the same Knight Sabers of the OAVs due to their
'crossing over' in LGL, and now, as time has passed, they're having to deal
with what it really means to have a beast. After all, they're true
predators now. There would be plenty of conflicts, especially over
leadership - they just wouldn't follow someone because of devotion or some
other 'touchie-feelie' reasoning any more. The current Alpha leads the
pack, and there are always constant challenges to the Alpha's dominance
over a group by any other who thinks they can take the Alpha, for whatever
reason.  Same thing goes in the situation the KS find themselves in, now
that the exhiliration and newness of their crossing has passed, and they're
dealing with day to day 'life'.

Nice to see a fic where the author has considered the long-term effects of
a situation and made something interesting of it.

Although I just can't abide LaCroix  ^_^
