Akane: (Gulps)Um, o-okay.(Thinking)I've read reviews of that movie. It's
supposed to be really really scary. I don't know if I can handle it.(Looks at
Ryoga)But then again, Ryoga seems very happy to be here, so I guess I

shouldn't

mind seeing it with him.

Akane doesn't seem like the kind to be scared, at least not in advance.
More like thinking, "Hm, scary? Yeah, right, I'm a big strong girl, just
TRY to scare me!" (and then possible find herself scared off her ass
DURING the movie but not daring to admit it)

(Together, Ryoga and a slightly hesitant Akane enter the movie theater. A 
second
later, Reia and Akemi appear from around the corner of the theater. It seems
they had been hiding there all this time)

Oops. :-]

(Someone from behind them 'shushes' the two girls. Reia and Akemi turn 
around to
face the middle-aged man. They stick their tongues out at him. The twenty-year
old girl sitting next to him laughs at the man's surprised look as Reia and
Akemi leave the theater)

I think, in Japan, he wouldn't really shush them. He'd just sit there,
boiling with anger, but still not saying anything because the girls are
SUPPOSED to understand on their own they should respect others and it
would be breaking forms to speak to a stranger etcetcetc...

Shori: (Thinking)Oh my god. He's asking me out again.(Begins to speak)Of

course

I would. (Thinking)Oh oh, I hope I didn't sound too eager....

Why *doesn't* she want to sound eager?

(Ranma leans forward a little more and kisses Shori on the lips softly.
Instinctively, Shori's arm moves up to wrap around the back of Ranma's

neck and

Ranma's hands wrap around the small of Shori's back. The kiss only lasts for a
second but feels like it had lasted much longer. It is uncertain as to who had
broken the kiss first but was clear that neither had wanted it to end.)

The wrap-hands-act in itself takes more than a second. ^_-

making of fool on himself. Shori giggles as she realizes that Ranma is every 
bit as disoriented from the kiss as her. Ranma waves goodbye before he

turns around

If she's that disoriented, she won't notice. ^_-

Akane: I guess I better get going home now.(Thinking)That movie was so scary.
I'm never going to goto sleep tonight. I'm just glad Ryoga is with me. There's
no way I want to walk home by myself after having seen such a scary movie.

Again, these seem like very un-Akane thoughts, scary movie or not. She
won't show herself afraid ... not until AFTER he leaves.

(Akane looks around for Ryoga but doesn't find him. Just a few minutes after
Akane disappears around a corner, Reia and Akemi emerge from the theater)

Awwwwwwww. I wanted to see the scene with them confronting the pair. That'd
finally whip up some MAJOR chaos in this story, with Akane finding out about
Shori etc and all hell breaking lose at once.

Akane: Why'd you have to get lost of all times?

Ranma: (Places a hand on her shoulder)Akane?

TYEEEEEEEEAHAAAAAAAS!!!! PERFECT!

OK, I forgive you for not doing the confrontation, this is better. ^_^

(yeah, yeah, despite all that's happened I'm *STILL* a Ranma-Akane fanatic;
so sue me)

(Akane glomps onto Ranma)

Glomps? Is glmops really the best expression?

Ranma: Why're ya looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face?

Akane: (Giggles slightly)No. Nevermind.

Though I'm loathe to admit it, more likely would be
Akane: (embarrassed, gives Ranma an angry glare) What do you mean? I wasn't
staring at you! In your dreams!

Ranma: What if you fall? You'll hurt yourself.

Akane: ....................

Akane would protest. SHE doesn't think she'd hurt herself.
