Got to thinking last night about all the excellent stories I've read 

since

coming to the FFML and I wondered. Where had all these authors 

disappeared

to? Authors like Chris Davies, Chris Angel, Lurker, Ron Barba, Eyrie, 

etc

and so forth. They write such wonderful pieces of fiction for our eyes 

and

imaginations and then...*poof* O_O Do they all suddenly gain a life 

after

writing a great work(much like Dwarves in Forgotten Realms) or is it 

me?

It's a conspiracy, of course.

  Everyone knows that all who rise to such prominence are sacri-- er, 
given the privilage of uniting with the great being known as Gary, whose 
true form is that of a giant brain sitting/floating in a tank of unknown 
liquid, hung-- arms open to abso-- welcome new minds to give rise to his 
own growing literary power, ever so slowly extending his reach to the 
stars above and beyond.... 
  ...I'm next? What a sha--er, honor. 

Whenever an author is judged to have written a great work, he or she is
removed from this list and placed on a special secret invitation-only
mailing list where his/her works will be shared only with other great
authors. The rest of us untalented hacks are left to carry on here.

  C'mon, Gary, we know what you're REALLY up to :)
