A-kun: Greetings all and welcome to another Quick MST, where I stop what 
I'm doing to MST _your_ works.  Now, this fanfic actually came to my 
e-mail a while ago, but I was kinda, sorta busy.  So, I'm getting to it 
now.

Ok, this is my very first fic and my very first post. So, if I mess up 

and do

something wrong let me know. <Privately of course.>

A-kun: I COULD do this privately, but might as well have some fun.

C&C is more than welcome.
Flames aren't minded but not looked at with anticipation either. 

A-kun: Oh, don't worry, this isn't a flame.  If it were a flame, I'd've 
started out with something like "YOU SUCK, TOAD-MONKEY!".  But this 
isn't a flame.  I should warn you, though, that I haven't had time to 
read any of this. [laughs nervously] Sorry.

Real quick
before I get to the disclaimers I thought I'd ask a question.. What I 

want to

know is if I write a fic that takes place in the Pokemon universe yet 

has none

of the characters from the show would it still be fit to post here? 

A-kun: It's got a comic, an anime AND a game.  It belongs here.  Kinda 
like the Power Rangers (they have a show, more than a few movies, a 
comic AND numerous games), Sonic the Hedgehog (two shows of differing 
origins, a comic with numerous spin-offs, and numerous games) and Ranma 
1/2 (comic, shows, movies and games).

Don't Know What To Call This Disclaimer Disclaimer - I haven't exactly 

seen a

lot of the anime and I've seen none of the manga. But I've read a lot 

of

fanfic. So, if the characters are OOC please let me know. I'd like to 

do the

best I can to keep them IC.

A-kun: ............................ Okay, listen up.  It's a good thing 
that you at least KNOW about the characters, but it's a BAD thing if you 
know next to nothing of the original series.  Just call it a personal 
experience.  All I knew about Ranma 1/2 was up to the third manga 
volume, all of the original TV series, a few OAVs and what I had read in 
a fanfic.  I made, quite possibly, the worst well-written fanfic known 
to man.

Note:This is in an alternate universe so before you say "WHAT?!" read 

the

other 
"Note:" at the end.

A-kun: "WHAT?!"  Heh.  Sorry, couldn't resist.

"Untitled For Now"

	"_DIE_ RANMA!"

A-kun: [Ryouga] OF CHOLESTROL INTAKE!  [Ranma] EAT HAM! [Ryouga] DRINK 
OVALTINE! [Ranma] HAVE A BLT! [Ryouga] USE TAMPAX TAMPONS FOR MAXIMUM 
PROTECTION! [Ranma] I DO!

	As Ryouga prepared to attack Ranma he was stopped short...

A-kun: *FA-BANG* [Ryouga] OWWW!  Dammit!  When did the Tendos get this 
Evangelion?!

Not by a counter
attack or by anything of the like. He was stopped by what he saw.

A-kun: [Ryouga, drunk] Oh no!  *HIC*  It's happening again!

Ranma in
girl form on his knees crying in the middle of the dojo floor.

A-kun: Actually, she's sleeping. [Ryouga] Ranma?  Ranma, WAKE UP! 
[Ranma-chan] MY LIFE IS A LIE! Oh, Ryouga, hi!

Now it wasn't
just that it was Ranma crying but a girl crying as well.

A-kun: Ryouga knows quite well that Ranma is a girl when he's splashed 
with cold water.  He's decided to take the Politically Correct method of 
not giving a rat's rear-end.

After a few moments
of indecision he decided to find out what was wrong. "Err, Ranma? 

What's the

matter?"

A-kun: [Ryouga in a motherly tone] Is is something you ate?  Did you 
step in something ucky?  Do you have that not-so-fresh feeling?

	Ranma managed calm himself long enough to say,

A-kun: [Ranma-chan] *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHH* Ah, 
that was fun! [normal] And if Ranma is female, refer to him as a her, 
okay?  Let's not get into this "Is Ranma really a female or really a 
cross-dressing male?" thing, okay?

"She's dead." in a calm voice
before losing control again.

A-kun: [Ryouga] You mean Akane?! [Ranma-chan] No! AERITH! [Ryouga] Who? 
[Ranma-chan] From Final Fantasy 7!  She was my favorite! 
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

	Ryouga had gotten the news of Akane's death months ago

A-kun: [O_O] Then Ranma-chan must REALLY be behind on the local news.  
That or you forgot to tell us that there was a scene change in there, 
Mike.

and had almost died

>from the energy his depression and anger had spawned.

A-kun: First-Time Fanfic Cliche` #2804: Akane dies, causing Ryouga to 
near use the Ultimate Shishi Houkodan.

As a matter of fact he
knew had he held it in one more second than he had he would have died.

A-kun: However, he got better. [Ryouga] Eh.  It was just a thing on the 
side anyway.  I've still got Shampoo, Kodachi, Akari, Ukyou, Nabiki, 
Kasumi and that Azusa chick to fall back on.

He had
immediately blamed Ranma for not protecting her

A-kun: [Ryouga] HOW DARE YOU NOT PROTECT HER! [Ranma] YOU WERE STEPPING 
ON MY FOOT AND PUNCHING ME IN THE FACE! [Ryouga] THAT'S BESIDE THE 
POINT!

but on his way to Tokyo he
found his way back to the same electronics store where he first heard 

of

Akane's death on the News.

A-kun: So he knows about her death, but he doesn't know about her death 
until he hears it on the news?  The hell?

He stayed to watch deciding to get a few more
details so he could kill Ranma accordingly.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Oooooh, I'm not sure I can summon that level of Demon 
from the Abyss.... and I don't know how to do that with my butt.... and 
I could NEVER do that with a cup of coffee, I'd be just too embarrassed.

You know slow, quick or really,
really slow.

A-kun: Or really, really quick or maybe he'd just get the crap beaten 
out of him again because Ranma's a better martial artist.

But what he found out froze his heart. Ranma could not have had
anything to do with her death. She had died of a rare disease which is 

why it

made it onto the news so far away from Nerima.

A-kun: So rare that no one had ever heard of it.  They call it 
"Tomboyitis".

So, he could no longer blame
Ranma for Akane's death but he did still blame Ranma for his curse 

among other

things.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Ranma, I know you're still grieving over Akane, but I 
still wanna beat the crap out of you because of what you've done to me, 
okay? [Ranma-chan] *SNIFF* No. [Ryouga] Pleeeeeaaase?  For me?  Maybe 
you'll feel better. [Ranma-chan] Okay.... 
*WHAM**STOMP**CRUNCH**POW**WHAM**SNAP**POW**BOP**THWOOM* Thanks Ryouga!  
That made me feel great! [Ryouga] ooowwww.... no problem.... 
oooowwww.....

Thus his 'Die Ranma' entrance. The fact that Ranma was still this
depressed over Akane's death shocked Ryouga.

A-kun: [Ryouga] By the Kamis, Ranma, I thought you'd be over this.  I 
mean, all those lemons with hundreds of other women should've broken you 
from this whiny, crybaby thing, right?

While he knew that Ranma would be
as sad and depressed as he was he thought he'd have already begun to 

move on.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Yeah, Ranma, it's been a week!  They've shown it on the 
news, made a TV special of the week about it and it's become a video 
game and a blockbuster movie!  I thought you'd be over it! [Ranma] It's 
a video game?  Damn, sorry, back to my usual self!

He himself had started moving on three and a half weeks after her 

death. But

here was Ranma still totally out of it over her. Ryouga missed her and 

mourned

her still but was able to function.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Of course, it's not like I gave a crap about her.  
[normal] Hey, if it's been three and a half weeks, why would the news 
even talk about it?

Yet Ranma, who always managed to beat him
in combat wasn't. "I...I know Ranma..I..I.I." stuttered Ryouga. *I know 

he

loved her but could he have actually loved Akane as much as I did? 

Or..or even

more?* thought Ryouga to himself while he tried to think of something 

to say.

A-kun: [Ryouga with a fake Canadian accent] Um, so how about the 
Packers?  Bet they win the Final Four, eh?

	Ranma slowly began to return to himself. When he finally did another 

three

minutes had passed. Ranma broke the silence his banished sobs left. 
"Ryouga,
if you want a fight find it someplace else. I ain't in the mood."

A-kun: [Ryouga] Aw, crap!  Here, I spend three weeks coming up with that 
"DIE, RANMA!" line and you ain't even up for a fight.  Man, this bites!

	"I can tell....I guess I'm not either...really." Ryouga replied 

feeling the

pangs of pain the memories of Akane caused begin to creep upon him. 

A-kun: [Ryouga] When she bought me that purse and dress me up like a 
female pig while I was still human, man... I think I'm gonna cry....

He willed
them away though not wanting to show weakness in front of his rival. 

A-kun: [Ryouga] %It's time to be MANLY!%  [chorus] %MANLY!% [Ryouga] 
%I've got to be MANLY!% [chorus] %MANLY!%

Though
when he thought about it, the real anger he felt for Ranma had drained 

away

long ago.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Hey, Ranma.  Let's go drown our sorrows in liquor and 
get into a bar brawl. [Ranma] Okay!  But, I thought we were too young. 
[Ryouga] Nah, in France, they let kids drink....

Now, or before Akane had passed on, he had been able to keep his
anger burning with a fever by blaming Ranma for everything that put 

Akane in

the least of distress.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Yeah, even though I would give my life for her to live, 
a few weeks and I couldn't give a crap if she was dead!

No matter how much he had to twist the facts to suit
his needs.

A-kun: Nice deep introspection.  Unfortunately, I'm afraid this sort of 
fanfic has come up numerous times in numerous forms and shapes.

	"Could you please leave. I'd like to be alone right now." Ranma asked.

	"I don't think you should be alone." Ryouga quickly answered 

surprising

himself. *Were did that come from?* He asked himself mentally.

A-kun: [singing] %Take me home tonight, I don't wanna let you go 'til 
you see the light!%

	"What's it to you!?" Ranma shot back beginning to get angry. *What 

business

is it of Ryouga's to decide when I should be alone? Especially when I'm
mourning the only woman I ever l..loved! Aarrgggghhhh!* Even now he 

A-kun: was having trouble figuring out why people would want him to move 
on.  Like Genma. [Genma] Ranma, my boy, I know you're still in mourning, 
but if you get married tomorrow, I'll give you a snowcone! [Ranma] WAI! 
WAI! WAI!  SNOWCONE!

still had
problems admitting to himself that he did in fact love Akane. Which 

made him

very angry as he thought it cheapened the memory of Akane.

A-kun: Yeah, realizing your love for someone really cheapens the memory 
of that person, don't it?  Mike, this rationalization is a _TAD_ off.

Still not able to
be open with himself let alone her even after she was gone.

A-kun: Okay, now this KINDA makes a little sense, but admitting your 
feelings, before or after the fact, helps you come to grips with what's 
happened.

	"I......I don't want you to die by anyone's hands but my own! That's 

all."

Ryouga said. Ranma was visibly taken aback.

A-kun: [Ranma-chan, eyes a'twinkle] You mean it?! [Ryouga] Yes, Ranma, I 
wanna kill you so bad, it makes my teeth hurt...or that could be plaque.

	"What do you mean by that?" Ranma questioned confusedly.

A-kun: [Ranma-chan] YOU MEAN YOU SLEPT WITH ANOTHER AQUATRANSEXUAL!  HOW 
COULD YOU! *SMACK* [Ryouga] Wait, Ranma!  You're the only aquatransexual 
for me!

    "Well,..I mean..that, um, I'm...uh, worried that you..might.....," 

Ryouga

swallowed heavily before continuing. "Might ki..kill yourself."

A-kun: Good going, Bacon breath.  Give him ideas.

	Ranma was beside himself.

A-kun: That's impossible, he's female!

Ryouga, worried that he might kill himself? The
thought of suicide had fought with his mind quite a few times over the 

past

few months but never once had it even gained an upper hand. Ranma's
masculinity for one kept it bay. Also his sense that the Tendo's needed 

him.

A-kun: Yeah, I'm sure his crying, balling and wailing has really helped 
the family's emotional stability.

But more than anything the hope that maybe it was some terrible 

nightmare

stopped him form attempting to end it all. "Ryouga, I...I do...I don't 

know

what to say...."

A-kun: [Ranma] Let's go star in another lemon together! [Ryouga] YAAAAY!

 
	A silence again befell the two boys

A-kun: *AHEM*  Ranma and Ryouga are in their TEENS!

and left them to their thoughts. Ryouga's
were taking a turn that they hadn't for many, many years. They were 

beginning

to worry about Ranma not because he wanted to gain his revenge for 

himself but

because he _didn't_ want harm to come to Ranma. It was strange after 

all these

years to feel true concern for Ranma again.

A-kun: No, it's not.  Ranma and Ryouga do have a bond.  They watch each 
other's backs and challenge each other whenever possible.

Ranma's thoughts were also taking
unexpected turns. First shock that Ryouga was showing any concern, 

second he

began to wonder if perhaps Ryouga had forgiven him and cared for him 

again.

A-kun: [Ranma] Ryouga's so masculine... DAMN THAT BLOW TO THE HEAD!

Maybe he had cared for Ranma again for a while but just kept up the 

feud for

the purpose of pride. Or maybe because he didn't want to be hurt if 

Ranma

didn't feel that way anymore. It was all very confusing and when 

Ranma's

thoughts strayed to Akane he couldn't handle it. He once again broke 

down

crying.

A-kun: [Ranma] Now, I'll never be able to taste her wretched cooking 
or...*sniff* or-or call her a "Tomboy" to her face o-or get into an 
argument with her ever again!  Hey, wait a minute!  I hated her!  Why am 
I crying?!  Oh, girls!  Ranma needs some lovin'!

	Ryouga resisted the urge to move too Ranma.

A-kun: If Ryouga wants to move TOWARD or TO Ranma, then you've 
misspelled 'to'.

He felt himself beginning to
weaken. He squeezed his eyes shut hoping to squelch any tears that had 

not yet

formed in his eyes. Better safe than sorry he thought. At least when it 

came

to his pride.

A-kun: [Ryouga, turning to Ranma] Ranma... [Ranma] Yes, Ryouga? [Ryouga] 
I can't cry in front you. [Ranma] Yeah, so? [Ryouga] So you'll 
understand when I say this.... DIE RANMA!

Any other time he would have said to hell with it. But this was
emotions. The all mighty arch nemesis of masculinity.

A-kun: Maybe some hyphens in that last sentence would clear it up.

Unless those emotions
were lust, blood lust or ego.

A-kun: Oh yeah, THOSE emotions are what masculinity feed upon.

When he was sure he had himself under complete
control he let himself walk over to Ranma. Strangely the feeling that 

he'd

know what to do disappeared as he approached Ranma. By the time he had 

taken

the thirteen or so steps he was clueless. More so than on a road trip. 

All he

could do was stand there. Desperately he tried to think of what to do. 

Finally

he decided to just sit down and wait.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Hey, Ranma.  Wanna go watch football?  Cable's got the 
San Fransisco 49ers versus the Minnesota Vikings.  [Ranma] REALLY!  
YAAAAY!  GO VIKINGS!  PURPLE PRIDE LIVES!

	Ranma had been crying for a while and Ryouga had been just been 

sitting there

next to him. Finally Ryouga decided to do something. He hesitantly 

reached out

to put his hand on Ranma's shoulder not sure if he should.

A-kun: [Ryouga] Yeah, being considerate is a bit of a stretch for me, 
but what the hey?

He paused inches
away before finding the resolve to follow through and make one of the 

first

acts of physical contact not related to violence aimed at Ranma in a 

long

time. 

A-kun: [Ranma] Ryouga? *POW* [Ryouga] Damn and I was so close too.

	As Ranma felt Ryouga's hand rest gingerly on his shoulder he first 

thought

*Defend!* but the notion left his mind faster than it had entered. 

A-kun: [Thought] COUNTER-ATTACK! [Ranma] No, no... [Thought] BEAT 'IM 
UP! [Ranma] No, no... [Thought] He stole your Jell-o pudding cup... 
[Ranma, frothing at the mouth] DIE RYOUGA!

And almost
as fast as that quick exchange took place he was falling into Ryouga's 

chest.

A-kun: TOGGGGG!!  [Ranma] Nice hollow chest you've got, Ryouga. [normal]  
Now, if he was falling AGAINST Ryouga's chest...

Not of his own violation. He needed to be comforted right now and he 

didn't

care what weakness he showed or who he showed them too. Besides he'd 

already

been crying here in front of Ryouga for....He didn't know how long. 

A-kun: Sentence didn't end, so no capitalization necessary.

For a

moment he was wary as to whether Ryouga would accept him but he thought 

if he

didn't maybe he could build up the courage to kill himself once he 

admitted to

himself deep down that this wasn't possibly a dream.

A-kun: [Ranma with southern female voice] Oh, Mr. Bo-Ryouga, I do 
declare.  Flowers for me?  Oh, you shouldn't have...  [Ryouga] Ranma, 
wake up. [Ranma] MY LIFE IS A LIE!  Oh, hi, Ryouga.

	At first Ryouga went rigid but he forced him self to relax. He gently 

put his

arms around Ranma in a loose hug. Ranma began crying even harder glad 

Ryouga

hadn't jumped back or pushed him away. Ryouga felt his own tears 

beginning to

form. This time he didn't stop them. He instead let them flow freely 

down his

face. The tears wore new paths in his dusty face the old ones long 

gone. He

felt Ranma place his arms around him and his tears rapidly increased in 

number

until he was weeping as much as Ranma. Ryouga unlike Ranma didn't think 

he was

crying because of Akane.

A-kun: Need a comma between Ryouga and unlike, then another between 
Ranma and didn't.

Strangely enough since he had began what had seemed
like a long trek across the dojo to Ranma, Akane had not once entered 

his

mind. He in truth had no idea why he was crying. *It just feels right.* 

he

thought to himself.

	It was a long time before they stopped crying and an even longer time 

before

either spoke a word. So, here they were sitting on the floor holding 

each

other in silence. It brought back bitter sweet memories for both. 

Memories

they had many times tried to forget....

A-kun: Aw, this ain't gonna get even more mushy, is it?!

<Flashback>

	Ranma and Ryouga were sitting in a field much like they currently were 

in the

dojo with the exception of the smiles on their faces, their age, 

Ranma's sex

and the look in their eyes. "Ranma, will you promise me something?" 

Ryouga

asked breaking the serenity of the scene.

	"Depends on what it is Ryo-chan." replied Ranma smiling cutely.

A-kun: GYAAAAAAAAAH!  YAOI SCENE!! [leaps for cover]

	"I'm trying to be serious, just tell me. Will you promise me 

something?"

Ryouga said, a trace of annoyance in his voice.

	Ranma's smile changed ever so slightly as he replied. "Of course I 

will

Ryouga. You know I'd do anything for you."

A-kun: [Ranma] You da man, Ryouga!

	Ryouga smiled at the man he loved and thought how lucky he was. *If 

only the

world was more accepting of homosexuality my life'd be perfect* 

"Ran-chan,"

began Ryouga lightening the mood with the use of their pet names.

A-kun: [Ryouga] I found this place called "America" and they love this 
singer named "Liberace" and...

"I want you
to promise me that you'll never leave me or stop loving me. Do you 

promise."

	Ranma almost laughed out loud but could sense Ryouga was insecure and 

held

it. Barely. "OF course I do! Ryouga, promising you that is almost 

redundant."

	"Huh?"

A-kun: No, he isn't here.

	"Re dun dant, it means saying the same thing in, like a different way. 

I

learned it in class today." Ranma explained. Ryouga nodded silently and 

then

smiled. Ranma and Ryouga looked into each other's eyes and moved in for 

a

passionate kiss.

A-kun: Awwwwwww, how... URK!

<End Flashback.>

	"Kinda makes you miss those days we spent together. Doesn't it?" 

Ryouga was

as startled as Ranma to hear his voice say those words. 

	Ranma started looking wistful as he quietly replied. "I always missed 

them."

	Ryouga wasn't sure how to respond to this. Lucky for him he didn't 

have too.

Ranma looked up to him and they made eye contact. They shared a look 

and then

slowly moved there heads towards each other's. Ranma turned his head 

and they

kissed deeply and passionately *It's so different from when Ranma's a 

man.*

thought Ryouga. He then thought to himself that it was strange he'd 

notice

that in the heat of this moment. 

	*It's so different when I'm a girl!* thought Ranma wondering why he 

thought

it. Then lost all thought as the passion overswept him. After another 

few

minutes they broke the kiss. Both, for no good reason, were a little 

nervous

fearing perhaps the other might not have liked it and would reject them 

at any

moment. Neither of their fears came about. Again the two sat in silence 

for a

long time. This time Ranma broke it. "Ryouga I'm so sorry! I never 

should have

let Pop drag me off to China without you!"

	"No, it's all right Ranma, I should have stayed with you instead of 

trying to

go home and pack first!" said Ryouga.

	"No, this is not your fault. It's all my fault. Everything. If I 

hadn't let

Pop drag me off I would've been there at that vacant lot and you 

wouldn't have

followed me seeking revenge and gotten cursed!" Ranma did his best to 

take the

blame.

A-kun: [Ranma] Now let's have sex!

	"Ranma, this is ridiculous. If we keep this up we'll be at each 

other's

throats again and I don't want to loose you a second time. Once was 

enough for

this lifetime Ran-chan. Let's just say, no one was at fault and forget 

it."

said Ryouga stopping all further discussion.

A-kun: No looking around to make sure Nabiki, Genma, Soun or anyone else 
is in sight, no closing the DOOR, nothing like that.  It's things like 
this that let secrets slip.

	Ranma smiled. "I know what you mean Ryo-chan and I totally agree with 

you.

Once was too much." The two shared another kiss. "Think we could try 

and solve

all our other problems like this?"

A-kun: [Ranma] Too bad Akane had to die.  We could've spent years 
tricking her into thinking we loved HER. [Ranma and Ryouga] 
BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

	"Sounds good to me." Ryouga replied smiling ear to ear. He was glad 

that they

were able to have solved a problem, especially the way they had hoping 

the

bigger the problem the bigger the solution,

A-kun: And the sex was FAAAANTASTIC!

but he was more than a little
worried. Because he had a feeling in his gut a lot of people weren't 

gonna

like Ranma's choice of a love interest. Especially not a certain 

Amazon,

Elder, Chef, Gymnast, Mother, Panda and Dojo Owner and adding them into 

the

mix promised to intensify their already existing problems and add many, 

many

new ones.

A-kun: Yeah, they just opened a whole caseload of "WHOOP-ASS"!

Final Note: Yup, Ranma and Ryouga were in love. Now the whole challenge 

thing

happened in this universe but it was a cover for a plan to get Genma to 

take

Ryouga along with them. The two boys thought if they made an official
challenge and Ryouga beat Ranma, Genma would agree to bringing him 

along to

teach him in the ways of the Saotome School of Anything Goes martial 

arts. But

Ryouga decided to go home first and pack. He got lost as usual and 

ended up

four days late. Ranma left on the third day believing Ryouga had left 

him

while Ryouga showed up the forth day and thought the same thing. I will 

be

continuing this no matter what but unless I get at least one good 

response I

don't think it'll be continued here. Thanks for reading and hope to

A-kun: Makes no sense, but I'll take your word for it.

A-kun: Well, what did I think?  This is a good story, if a tad screwy 
with the logic.  Personally, I dislike this relationship, but I can 
stand it.  And you aren't the first person to think of this, Mike. Many 
people believe that Ryouga chased Ranma because of a broken heart.  And 
I've got a little challenge for you.  I've seen all sort of lemons with 
all sorts of relationships.  So, here's a small list of ones I HAVEN'T 
seen so that you can try something original or at least something that 
hasn't been driven into the ground.

  Nabiki and anyone other than Ranma, Ryouga or Tatewaki Kuno.
  Shampoo and anyone other than Ranma or Mousse.
  Ranma and anyone other than Akane, Nabiki, Ryouga or Shampoo.
  Ryouga and anyone other than Akane, Nabiki, Ukyou or Ranma.
  Tatewaki Kuno and anyone other than Nabiki or Ranma-chan.
  Kasumi and anyone other than Dr. Tofu.
  Ukyou and anyone other than Ranma-chan, Ranma or Ryouga.
  Mousse and anyone other than Shampoo.
  Akane and anyone other than Ryouga or Ranma.
  Kodachi and anyone other than Ranma.
