In a remote area of Earth, there lived a hermit.  Stories about him have
passed through the ages.  Some say that he was thousands of years old and one
of the best martial artist on the planet.  He supposedly practiced a style of
martial arts that had no equal.  Many new martial artist, throughout the ages,
have traveled the Earth seeking this man of myth.  None ever found him, saying
that he was more myth than man.

	"Grandpa!" a young boy with spiky black hair called out.

	"What is it Goku," an elderly man asked the boy calling him from outside.

	"I caught a fish.  Do you want some?" Goku asked.  The fish that the young
boy held was more than 10 times his size and as big as a car.	

	"Of course, I'm starving!"

	"Okay!"

	On top of a ridge, a few miles away, a young woman pulled out a compass like
device and examined it.  "Another Dragon Ball is around here!" she said with
glee.  

* * * * *

	"That was very good, Goku." the man praised the young man.

	"Thanks, Grandpa." Goku responded with a smile.

	"Okay, it's time to practice.  How about a game of tag?"   

	"I'll touch you this time," Goku stated.

	"You're a few thousand years too young, my boy." 

	The two combatants, started to circle one another.  With an invisible signal,
the two clashed.  Everytime Goku tried to touch his grandfather, he would
avoid it by either side stepping or leaping out of the way.  Had Goku knew
better, he would have been amazed at the feats his grandfather was preforming.
Here was a man in his late sixties or seventies moving like he had all the
energy in the world.  

	"Is that all you can do?" the grandfather taunted.

	Goku enjoyed playing with his grandfather.  Though he could never touch the
man, he enjoyed it nonetheless.

	Hours later both grandfather and grandson left for home, both sweating and
hungry.  "Goku why don't you go catch another fish?" the grandfather said.

	"Okay!"

	So what does everyone think?  This is a fic where Ranma has not died due to
his manipulation of chi and ki energy and his curse.  After everyone he knows
dies, he goes into the mountain and train.  He then stays there, venturing out
every once in awhile to attend a tournament or find someone stronger.  as
years pass, he could not find another and so stayed int he mountain.  One day,
he saw a comet crash land near his house and went to investigate.  He
discovered Goku.  The young man did not remember who he was and so Ranma took
him in.  In the thousand of years since he had lived, Ranma had learned a few
tricks, one being the manipulation of his appearance like in Tenchi OVA 13,
where Yoshorevealed himself to be a youngman.  etc etc.
