Hello Alan,

Wow, another chapter and so soon! :>  It's a little shorter than
the others have been, but great all the same.  I don't have a whole
lot to say about this chapter really.  No smart-ass comments as
usual, I'm sorry to say.

    "Pot!  To do..."
    Comprehension suddenly dawned.  "I'm okay for now," Akane
blurted, though that was not entirely true.

Shouldn't there be an extra line between the paragraphs?

The tread that stopped outside the
cell door this time was heavier, and the face that looked
through the panel when it opened was older and considerably less
friendlier.

considerably less friendly.  ?

    "The connections are gone," Wiyeed murmured.  "But how.
Always, always they are there.  To her sister over the sea, and
her sister under Jusendo.  But..."

I realize she's musing to herself, but shouldn't that be:
"But how?

    Under the great tree that was the sourcing of all the power
in Wurdsenlin, they had slain the the Twelve, the mightiest
wizards of the Dragon Tribe.  Under the great tree, he had been
bathed in the Ravager's blood and had watched him bring the black
fire down upon the green and pleasant land.

repeated the.  the the Twelve.

    Over Jusenkyou, the sky was tearing apart.

So what's new?

Like I said, a smaller chapter but it got a lot done, really.
Everything is starting to get drawn together and I'm anxiously
awaiting the next chapter.
