Ok folks, I tweaked with the grammer in the first chapter. And added a second
chapter to keep this from bieng TOO short. I hope ya'll enjoy.

The C&C really helped out alot! Keep them coming. I don't mind public C&C
one bit. However, Flames will be read. Flames will be printed. Flames will
be placed in fireplace. So, basically, don't mind those (much) either.

The Authors Rant: Alrighty then. Heres my first Anime Fanfic EVER! I warn
you, I DO have other characters, however, at this time. They dont seem to be
here... Gee. Wonder why? Oh well. Anyway. Why did I start writing?
Simple,
have you guys ever read The Twisted Path, a Famous Fanfic by Darren
Steffler? If not, please do so. He inspired me! (Though he has yet to know.
^_^;). So I decided to sitdown and start writing. And amazingly, I was good
at it!
I never exactly learned how to STOP writing! ^^; Anyway, here it is folks.
My
story that involves two non-regular Lodoss War Characters. Plus a few
creations of my own.

Short Disclaimer: All original characters and the island of Lodoss are sole
property of their creators. Pray they don't cut off my fingers for using them
without asking permission.

Record of Lodoss War:
Chapter 1: Old memories come back again.
==========================================================

Shiris sighed as she leaned back, mumbling a bit. "It's soooo.. boring
here!"
Orson glanced aside slowly, shifting his position upon the thick wooden
branch ever so slightly as he gazed upon his fiery-haired female companion.
Deep brown eyes then looked back forward to the road, as he reminded his
companion yet again, "We promised to keep watch over here for a while. This
is
the last day."
Shiris sat up in a hurry, almost glaring, her lithe form very easily
keeping
balance upon the tree branch. "But nothing's happened! If it weren't for the
amount of money that old man payed us, I would've left long ago."
Orson silently ignored her ranting as he quietly watched the street.
Then he
noted something. "Shiris, look."
Shiris quickly hushed and quickly darted her head towards the road, her
deep
red eyes scanning the area, until she heard... It was the sound of galloping
hoofbeats. She looked up slightly, and layed absolutely still, her eyes
taking in
the next few images. There were three riders. The first one was a man in
fine,
but not fancy clothing, and wearing leather armor over it, he was also
carrying,
noticably, one too many pouches. The other... a man riding a strange black
stallion, wearing bronzed armor, and a black and silver cloak. Shiris then
blinked a moment, and narrowed her eyes, studying the man further, he was
obviously chasing the now apparent thief... but she had seen that haggard face
somewhere.... Wait a moment, she thought, what's that on his cheek?
It took only a moment for it to hit her.
"It's the thief we were told to watch for," Orson murmured quietly.
"And Margon is ahead of us in getting him!" Shiris growled, quickly
leaping to
prepare herself for a pounce.
"Shiris?" Orson turned slightly, noticing she was gone, but merely
sighed
and prepared himself, as well, his large hand slowly reaching back for the
two-handed sword that had sheathed there.

"Shit! Don't you ever give up?!" The thief was almost there! Damn that
blasted mercenary for showing up!
The man in bronze armor merely smirked. His cool voice rang out
challangingly. "Not particularly. Now turn around and fight, coward."
"I'd rather be a coward than end up getting diced by a guy like you!" the
Thief
called back. He digged his heels deeply into the horse, who in turn nearly
went
spastic, and reared back, before going forward at an even faster pace. He
looked back, and breathed a sigh of relief. Then forward again, grinning as
he
saw the forest path ahead. "That old man's money's going to be mine!" the the
thief murmured. He pressed his mount forward harder, but something flashed
infront of him and his horse. The horse cried out as it reared back in
attempt to
kick away the firey figure, and the thief yelled out colofully as he fell back
onto
the ground, groaning. "Shit!"
Shiris quickly moved away from the horse and drew her rapier slowly,
walking
towards the fallen man. A smirk played on her lips as she brushed back her
front bangs arrogantly with a free hand and looked down to him. "Not so tough
right now, are ya big guy?"
The thief's eyes flared in rage, secretly, four daggers slipped between
his
fingers in one hand, and he reared his arm back. "You little bi--Urk!" The
thief
stopped montarily, and looked up as he saw the tall Berserker standing calmly
over him, with a huge blade in his hand, the tip at his throat. The thief
cursed
further, and dropped his knife, slowly raising his arms.
Shiris smirked as she leaned over and picked up a few pouches from the
thief's belt, hefting them. "My my... I imagine this could be what we're
rewarded
for turning in a big-time pickpocket like you."
"That's my money you have!" a voice bellowed out.
Shiris gritted her teeth, knowing that voice well, and murmred. "Not
now...."
Sighing, she quickly tossed her head up and glared forward at the big man in
his
majestic black stallion. "Margon... it's been a while..."

Chapter 2.
Shiris and Margon
==========================================================

And then, he turned around and said, Why the hell do you think youre
doing? and I replied. I dont know, but its keeping us alive and them
dead so
far, isnt it?' Margon grinned, and broke out in an uproarus laughter, his
empty
mug of beer slamming down on the table.
Shiris sighed as she leaned forward somewhat, her chin resting on the back
of
her hands as she kept herself propped up on her elbows. Orson, however,
remained silent, facing Margon for a while.
Margon leaned back with a lazy grin imprinted on his face, a slightly
drunk
look went about his head as he spouted off stories and tales of what he has
been doing. Then he blinks, and looks to Shiris, pointing to Orson with a
sloppy
grin. Oi... whats that kids problem?
Shiris glanced aside to Orson, who nodded, and turned to Margon. He has
to keep his emotions in check. Hes a Berserker.
Margon frozen in an instant, and just slowly turned with a sober gaze
towards
Orson, noting that distinct aura that surrounded him, and the jewel that
decorated the green cloak and the two-handed sword. W..what? A berserker?
Hyurie controlls his spirit?
     Orson nodded slowly.
Margon blinked. Shit! You hang around with the wild ones, dont you
Shiris?
Orson leaned forward slowly, his quiet, deep voice ringing out in
thoughtfulness. And how would you know Shiris?
Margon then immediatly grinned, as if snickering. Cant you tell?
Shes my
cousin! He grinned, waiting for some kind of silly, gawking reaction. But
got
nothing, and blinked. What?
Orson glanced to Shiris, who merely sighed and crossed her arms, not very
happy about this at all. Then Orson glanced back to Margon. So what brings
you here?
Margon frowned, and quickly motioned for another mug of Beer. I heard
about the Marmo War, I came to see if it was true.
Shiris quieted a moment, as did Orson. She could see through his calm
exterior that the reminder of what happened on Marmo island had still shocked
him. Even out of his Berserker Rage, at that. She looked up to her cousin,
and
nodded. Yes Margon, its true.
Ah, Margon mumbled, pausing a moment to grab the beer a waitress just
set down on the table, and takes a huge gulp of the stuff, setting it down.
By
the way, what about this Hero of Lodoss I keep on hearing, eh? Some kinda
kid I heard, has an elf following him too. I hear shes cute. Ah, their
names
were like uh..
     Parn and Deedlit, Orson finished.
Shiris nodded in agreement. Yep, the kids are friends of ours.
Margon grinned, his manner fading to a drunken stupor rapidly. Iz zat
right?
he joked. Well then, yer a famous gal, arent ya? I suppose someone so
generous as you wouldnt mind giving me the bounty on that thief that *I*
earned.
Shiris blinked, and stood up. You earned?! Who you think stopped him
you
crazy bastard?! You were loosing him.
This time, Margon also stood up, his mood swinging to his temper as he
towered over Shiris. I was the one that kept track of him all this time! I
would
NOT have lost him! The bountys mine I tell ya!
     In your dreams!
     Bitch!
Orson sighed, calmly watching the two cousins argue. He knew
this was going to be a long day.
