One, Barbara Gordon is NOT his last descendant. The Commish did have a
son:
> James Gordon, Jr. We just never see him, that's all.
Mercutio, repeat this mantra to yourself.
'He's working with the animated series.'
Actually, I already have a mantra I repeat to myself in times of stress:
"The Canadians are not out to get me. The Canadians are not out to get me. The
Canadians are not...."
In the animated series, as far as I've seen, Barbara is Gordo's
daughter and there is no Jamse Jr. In the comics, yes, in the
animated series no.
Okay?
Alright, admittedly, this one IS my bad. I realized it about ten minutes after
I'd sent my post. Much "D'OH!" ing and smacking of foreheads ensued.
Mea culpa, everybody. Sorry, I'll try not to let it happen again.

Wasn't quite happy with it myself. Tell you what, you tell me
what kind of scheme the Joker can do that'll have the same end
results (babs, Linna, & wounded batsy fleeing the scene)?
Any ideas will be taken seriously.
Wow. Give me a day or three to dig out my back issues and do some major Joker
research, and I'll be happy to submit an idea.
You're in a fast flying object with Batman in it. The media
hasn't given it a name. You're talking to your friend, trying
to tell her where you are. Now... are you gonna give it
a nifty name like 'Batwing' even though you've never heard the
term? Fumbling for a description, Batjet seems like a more
natural thing for Linna to say.
Oh, of course. I don't have a prolem with Linna's description of it..... I'm
impressed she was even coherent enough at the time to come up with even a
semi-nifty name.
But seeing as how Barbara refers to it by the exact same name later in the
fic, I assumed you'd taken it out of official continuity somewhere. After
all, SHE would know it's the Batwing.
Wrong, but it's nice to know you recall Rossum's work.
Hey, I almost cried at the end of "Soul of Silicon." I damn sure remember his
work.
