If I'm not mistaken, anata is just for husband, not for lover. As for the
wife... well, it really depends on the couple. Some couples say -san after
each others name even after they get married. Sometimes, it's -chan for the
wife, and -san for the husband. Sometimes, it's no honorifics at all, which
make it seem even more closer. What were the circumstances of their
meeting, and what kind of people (formal, informal, etc) are they?
