And I too have to agree with you three, though I might not have been as 
fortunate as the three of you, my first was totally ignored, but it 
didn't stop me from trying though. 

I guess one of the lessons I learned from that experience was just to 
enjoy what I did and just hope for the best. Another was to give C&C 
when I could to other author's so that they'd know that at least one 
other person enjoyed and read their work. And the spark in them will 
continue to burn, I think its just one of the best ways to make your 
presence known, even if you aren't an author.
