Most of the things pointed out in this rant are good suggestions
for the new writers out there.  If you read this, read it again, make 

sure

you understand exactly what Mr. McAvoy is saying here.

  After this, it shouldn't be a problem to pump out "The World's Worst 
Ranma Self-Insertion!" or "The World's Worst Ranma Crossover!", 
whichever I think I want to do first (although the former might be 
self-defeating, because all of my "World's Worst" are SIs in some form.)

	I've read a lot of fanfiction that could be considered good...even
great, but simple things ruined it.  Bad spelling, grammar, or lack of 

a

decent plot, etc.  Following the guidlines in this nifty little letter
could have possibly helped those fics out.

  Ignoring these guidelines is what the "World's Worst" lives on :) 
  (even though there are only two I wrote out, of course)

	Mike, you did a good job writing this out, and beleive me, I'll
probably keep it around to give me some advice.  EXC. Job.
