A few questions occurred to me after some of the criticisms that I
received from my first post.
One of the harsher reviews suggested that I skip and skim over the intro
stuff, and get to the point asap. Valid point and I am overhauling it as
we speak.
However what I have been wondering is is there a balance. Perhaps it's
because two of my prereaders are not anime fans I find myself having to
spell everything else. Since we our writing to fellow enthusiasts who
know exactly what we are talking about we are able to take many short
cuts and leaps of logic without distracting our base of readers. However
I wonder if this effects the quality of the story in the long run. I
admit that this is a bit of a catch twenty two, but I would be
interested to see people's insights and opinions in this regard. Thank
you.
