[The camera opens on Ricky who is talking to Dr. Robberts in the waiting
room of the hospital]

Dr. Robberts: Well, it seems like he's no longer in critical condition, but
we're going to need to operate.

Ricky: Well, then go and operate on the  man!

Dr. Robberts: I can't do that! He's not insured and the chances of him
surviving are a million to one!

Ricky: Doc, you want me to go outside and tell those reporters that you're
not going to operate on him because he isn't insured?

[Dr. Robberts stares at Ricky for a few seconds]

Dr. Robberts: All right! But this would be an entirely different story if it
were a shooting!
