you? Do you? Ever since Part IX was posted that first time.

It was worth the wait.

You caught me by surprise, too. I saw Akane acting differently,
more like Ranko, and her wish and I thought to myself, "Aha!
Fusing them together, eh?" and immediately congradulated
myself on my own cleverness.
	Right.
So then I see at the end there, Akane is starting to fade away.
I nod to myself knowingly and say, "Aha! So _now_ it's going
to happen! Scrivener was just fooling the first time!" and indeed,
it really seemed it was going to happen like that, with Ranko having
the extra bits that were taken away from Akane, and missing some of
her own. It would have solved all the problems, as well.
	Imagine my surprise again when this turned out not to be true
as well. I like the way it ended better than my predictions-- there
is something more poignant about it, and while everything didn't
work out for everyone in the end, it was still more good than bad, 
and more happy than sad-- a good end.

	Scrivener, as always, well done.
