  Thank you for the overwhelming (well, I didn't expect much) positive 
responses of "I like, I want more' to my previous post. And to those of 
you who took the time to critique and comment, you also have my 
gratitude. Again, as I've said, this was a very ROUGH draft and the 
teaser was merely an excerpt from a completed work that I have yet to 
write. I pretty much composed the whole message in one sitting. It's 
kinda hard to deal with technicalities like spelling and grammar when 
ideas are flowing out of your brain faster than quicksilver.

  But yes, I will take greater precaution about posting messages without 
giving them a thorough proofread. And once I start writing 'for reals', 
I'll be using MS Word, so for those of you who complained about my 
spelling, you can stop sending me URLs of free word processors and 
spell-checkers. *grin*

  Since, as I've stated, my knowledge about the Ranma 1/2 and NGE are 
quite general, I'll be relying on y'all to provide me with the technical 
aspects of things like events and names native to the series. I've 
already gotten corrections about the agent Rei's demise (t'was a self 
destruct; the N2 mind failed) and the names of Ranma's attacks. This is 
good. Keep it coming.

  But overall, it seems like most people want me to take this idea all 
the way through, so I'll give it my best and see how it goes. But a 
forewarning: I'm the kinda person who sees the grand scheme of things, 
dreams about big plans, and after taking a stab at it, decides to give 
up because 1) it's too difficult, or 2) real life takes priority. So 
please bear with me on such things like release dates and revisions.

  I have no webpage to post my completed works or works in progress, but 
if someone out there is willing to provide the webspace (and if I put 
out enough material to be worth the effort), then by all means, contact 
me for posting details.

  Back to the fic, though, here are some specific requests and aspects 
that I will be working on, most of them brought to my attention via 
people's responses:

-How Rei actually gets into Ranma's body.
-How Rei's analytical and emotionless (but not for long :>) self creates 
conflicts/resolutions for Ranma's current personality and/or romantic 
engagements.
-Action sequences (fight scenes) in which Rei is the primary element.
-Basically, working with changes in the Ranma's personality, but 
generally keeping the Ranma 1/2 cast in character.

  But I need to know some things to get this fic on the road. Here are a 
few problems I have, unless I get my hands on some anime real quick:

-Details to the scene where Rei self-destructs her Eva to destroy the 
angel.
-Problems working with Kuno-esque speech and Kodachi's extensive 
vocabulary where the 'red-haired harridan' is concerned.
-Akane's tendancies and her usual spiels when she misinterprets a 
situation to Ranma's disadvantage.

  I will not be posting a revised copy of my initial excerpt, but 
instead, will concentrate on the fic itself. Aside from these concerns, 
though, I hope to have time to really get started on this fic. It's all 
about time and sleep, both of which I really need.
