Not sure.

Actually, I don't think Kasumi even knows Tofu is interested in him.
The diagram Rumiko Takahashi drew that showed lovelines between the
chracters(Which can be found on Lord Archive's page, among possible
other places) shows double-arrows, showing mutual feelings, between
Ranma/Akane and Ryoga/Akari.  The Tofu/Kasumi line was, sadly, one-way.
Kasumi definitely likes him, but she's clueless romantically.

Well, there is the episode fairly early on where she brings a gift of
cookies to
Tofu. I don't know how signifigant that is in Japanese culture, but it might
be
an invitation to further advances on his part.

12.Has Akane ever used her malet for anything aside from comedy factor?

Nope.  And she often uses whatever is at hand, at least at first.  Shinai
(a kendo practice sword) are used a lot at first.

Also, almost every member of the cast has used mallets at one time or
another.  Including Ranma.  They are a comedic device.  Akane's Mallet
is yet another fanfic legend... as is the notion that only females
can use them.

Just out of curiosity, when did Ranma ever mallet anyone?  (I'm guessing
Kuno or Genma as the victim.)

Well, let's see, Ranma _tried_ to use on on Happosai during the "Ultimate
Weakness Moxibusion" story arc, but wasn't strong enough to lift the mallet.
I don't know of any other instances, but someone else might.

For other instances of male-using mallets, Soun and Genma used mallets on
Happosai once (During the Girl Repellant incident) and Happosai used a small
mallet on Ryoga (Ryoga and Happosai's first meeting where Happosai tried to
sleep with Akane while disguised as P-chan) and Kuno used one on Ranma
during the wishing sword story. There are probably other instances, but I
don't recall them off the top of my head.
