Hmmm... don't remember that.
The word 'fuck' did not bother me as much as the other, which I
would suggest changing to another less offensive and maybe still not
politically correct term.
Got one in particular in mind? E-mail me if you don't want to bother the
list with it.
Other than that word, the crudeness of his language
really did not bother me in the slightest, and I thought that it worked
better that way. This by far was my favorite prelude then, and now.
Thanks!
I read the HaM preludes a while back and I still enjoyed them every bit
as much now as I did then. Your work has been a great influence on my
own, whether I realized it or not, as I am sure it has been for many
others. Not many, in my opinion, can pull of Ranma getting pregnant
without a lot of excess explanation and drugging. ;)
Heh. Yeah, it's not an easy thing to do, believe me.
As you and everyone else who is receiving this probably knows, you're
somewhat of a celebrity on the FFML, a driving force if you will.
Whether
or not some of us agree doesn't change the fact that it is only because
your work is so well written and received.
And the HaM preludes deserve every bit of praise it has attracted
because it is very good -- not because of its author.
Everyone who has not enjoyed it is missing out. If you refuse to read it
for whatever reason, it's your loss. Cheers, Gary, for this great work
and the rest yet to be posted.
I'm honored; thanks for the generous compliments! I hope the main HaM
series will live up to expectations.
And to remember that none of us are perfect whether grammatically,
politically, or whatever else... ;-)
worse. The only thing he could really compare it to was eating Akane's
cooking, back in the old days when she didn't know the difference
between soy sauce and tabasco
..you forgot the period at the end.
Oopsie! Sloppy editing strikes again. Will fix.
