	Serena screamed as the tendril wrapped about her long ponytails and
pulled her into the darkened room. In a flash Darien shot across the
room, just in time to tumble through the doorway after her.

	The tendril snapped, leaving the pair to fall into a crumpled heap.
Above them towered the huge shape of a massive tree. Shrivelled leaves
hung from the branches and long vines seemed to reach out towards the
shocked pair.

	A pool of light illuminated the green skinned form of a blue haired
young man. "Prepare for trouble."

	Next to him a second beam illuminated a similar woman. "And Make it
double."

	Alan flourished his flute. "To the Protect the Tree from Devastation."

	"To Drain all people within your nation," Ann announced, pointing down
at the now standing Serena and Darien.

	He closed his other hand about the flute. "To capture the power of Truth
and Love."

	"To return to our home in the stars above." Ann thrust her clenched fist
into the air.

	"Alan," he declared, holding the flute beneath his lips.

	"Ann." She hovered, arms crossed glaring down at them.

	The tree loomed up behind them. "Doom Tree children blast off at the
speed of light!" Alan aimed his flute at the pair below.

	"Surrender now or prepare to fight!" Ann pushed both open palms
downwards.

	A strange yellowed robed geisha floated down upon a flower. "Beware
Fourface. That's right!"

	Serena and Darien shared a glance, then sweatdropped.

	"Why do we get the strange ones?" she asked.
