I hate the opening.  That you've read a lot of fanfic which has
Ranma sailing through the air, predictably, after being hit by 
Akane predictably, in a quarrel about her cooking which is predictably
exaggerated is not a reason to do the same thing.  

Apart from that, the Senshi would _never_ detransform in front of 
someone when they didn't trust his loyalties.  

Similarly it's not likely that Ranma would hang around with five new 
girls, particularly since at least a couple of them would be looking at 
him with interest, so he'd probably take off right after trashing the 
monster.  His reasoning for staying is totally unbelievable.  He was 
there for just under a minute after all at that point.  

You'd be better served by developing the relationship between Ranma and 
the Senshi more gradually.
