Unless you're trying to tell me Ranma survived a direct hit from a
superpowerful laser without so much as an ouch.  Which quite frankly is
insane.

Hell, in the Superman animated series, even _Superman_ goes ouch when
hit with a big enough laser.>>




I do see your side in the fact that there are several points I miss along the
way.  Why would Ranma not act like an idot, like in the anime series.  If you
every read the novel or comics, you would notice that Ranma does not act that
naive.  Sure he has his rough points but other than that he talks pretty
normal.  Translating from Japanese to Enlish, people usually miss things.  Viz
never really did a good job of translation or put as much effort into their
works as other companies such as ADV and Animego.  As for the astonishing
part, yoiu have to realize that what Ranma represents, is so different from
what other people witness in their normal lives.  SM series, good, Usagi and
the rest of the Senshi can turn into super heroines and throw neat spells and
attacks around, Ranma does not need to tranform and very few series are out
there that the viewer can see a huge battle aura or the moves that some of
them do.  BGC, we have four armor individuals who fly around doing good.
Nifty.  They need armor.  Ranma does not.  He is human, he does what they can
not.  Slam anyone into a wall and they hurt.  Slam Ranma into a wall it will
break and he will walk out mad.  See the difference?  See why people are so
astonded.  What Ranma does is not normal.  As for why he is not stun is due to
what he has been through.  Must remember that everything he went through
happened in one year time.  He improved that much in one year and now he has
over 40 years to improve.  Think Ack!!!  Also all my fics have Ranma around
the age of 19,  not 16.  In that time he has enough time to mature.  I try to
give a reason behind everything.  Think Herb, Think Saffron.  Ranma survived a
blast that destroyed a whole mountain side and still win.  Can you say I
witness so much that nothing can really startle me.  If cahnging into a girl
with cold water does nothing for your emotional education then nothing will.  

As for my fics, if you do not like it, please do not read.  I appreciate
flames, I really do but not something like, oh your fics are like this, I
should expect this and that.  How about this part isn't very good or this part
really sucks, try this.  There are many other fics out there that makes what I
represent Ranma to be seem like a baby, aka Just Won't Die, the Bet, Hell of a
Life, Water Under Earth.  All of these depic Ranma to be super human with
powers nearing god hood but still they are fun to read and that is why I like
them.  If you are that set then you will have a problem with 50-75% of the
fics released.

I even bet that there has been a debate about this in the past.  I really do
not care.  I am trying to explain the difference and the inconsistancy when
writing crossovers.  Anyways thanks for the C&C.
