I guess this is too long to include text, and
besides, the part I want to comment
on isn't that big.

You complain lots of times about the
lack of question marks in the text.
I agree, sometimes either Lara or Mike
must not have been paying attention.
But other times, some of the things
Ranma/Akane or Tatewaki/Ukyo say aren't
questions, but more like statements.

Like the one where Ranma asks if he's
missed alot.  When said out loud, coupled
with the situation involved, it works
better as a statement rather than a question.
It's also a bit of understatement, too,
sorta Ranma's way of saying, "Geez,
I've been gone a while..." without saying
so.

I'm the kind of reader who imagines dialogue
as if it's being spoken directly in front of me,
and read accents that way, too.  Just because
the sentence begins with a question word or ends
with an inflection doesn't necessarily mean it's a
question.
