Actually, you're wrong: This is the *fanfic* ML, not the *anime fanfic*
ML.
True, But I (and others from what I understand...) got turned onto the list
becasue a LOT of it was Anime Fanfics. However, since I NEVER read (in the
FAQ, or anywhere else in fact.) that this was an Anime pure site... i see
nothing wrong with posting any type of fanfiction to this site, after all, if
we don't like the series or the book or whatever, we can (as long as the
"soucre" of the fanfiction in question is clearly stated up front) just round
file the fic before we read it (I do that often.) Perhaps, since I argee with
you , and the ELL does not, should we ask Tybalt or WW to clarfiy? That seems
to be the only way to solve this dispute of what should be on the list.
(Since most of us write or at least READ. fanfiction based on anime, the
assupmtion might have been that this was for Anime only.)
So if you're a fan, and you write fiction about what you are a fan of ...
then you post it here. It's just that most people here write *anime*
fanfics. But that's not the rule - it's just what ended up happening.
So... technically speaking, you should tell the people who write
[original] stories that they shouldn't be posting here, not the people
who write fanfics of Power Rangers, Red Dwarf, or whatever.
This is an appropriate place for such fanfics - it's the fanfic ML!!!
You might be thinking of rec.arts.anime.creative, in which case it would
not be appropriate to post it there. But this isn't raac! ^_^
