Wowsers. Given the almost complete lack of Shirow-inspired
 fanfiction out there (an Appleseed xover bit in Undocumented Features
 being the only one that comes to mind), I was prepared for this, the first
 I've seen on the FFML, to fall short of my hopes.
 
 	'Twas not even remotely so. The innovative (in fanfiction),
 engaging format felt completely right. Characters and
 settings from both series were effectively used, without the mile-a-minute
 character introductions so common to crossovers. And you _gotta_love any
 story that starts with a Max Headroom reference.
 
 	If anything, the plot may have moved a little fast, given how
 little time it took for the Knight Sabers and the Wicked Tribe to come
 into contact. I'm hoping the involvement of Genom will complicate things a
 bit more in future chapters, which I will be eagerly awaiting.
