You forgot the one thing... Ranma was Akane's (or Ukyo's or Shamps...)
MOST normal girls ARE not that fighthappy as those three and most girls
would be like, well, he's cute, but once they learned about the
"relaltionShip" Ranma had (has whatever) They would not come close to
him.
However, IF repeat IF Ranma did NOT have those around him... about half
the girls at Furkian would chase him.

Would be interested in him, certainly, but the described activities go beyond
"interest".  For crying out loud, a mob was chasing him!  Nor would Akane's
engagement have restrained Kasumi and Nabiki at the start.
