Hello! I'm not a real big writer, I mostly just read fanfics, but every
once in awhile an idea pops into my head I just have to express. I know
my writing style isn't very good (enough people have pointed that fact
out to me thank you) but I do try so I hope you can excuase what will
most likely be alot of grammatical/spelling errors and/or sloppt form
^_^ well....enjoy! oh yeah...umm...Thanks to Metroanime for making 'The
bet' for which I got the inspiration to write this....

disclaimer: Ranma 1/2 is owned by Rumiko Takahashi and Viz (I think) and
Tenchi Muyo is owned by Pioneer (I'm pretty sure). The watcher is owned
by Marvel comics....umm...that is....I think so......I should really
double-check these things....


A very crazy idea
a Ranma/Tenchi Muyo crossover

(Scene opens to a dark plain of.....well...nothing. All that can be seen
is a short humanoid-like creature with a BIG head and large white eyes.
The creature is wearing a shiny purplish robe and staring into a sort of
pond. The pond is in what looks like a stump and all sorts of colors
flash on its surface.)

Creature: I am the watcher. Me and my kind have overseen countless
dimensions for time unknown. We have watched countless civilizations
rise and fall. We have seen...(suddenly gets decked to the ground by a
tall black-haired man)

Man: You really need to work on your opening line George!

Watcher:  *yells at the man* I'm not George! I'm the watcher you idiot!

(The man just shrugs and ignores the dwarfish alien. You can now see
that the man is wearing a White shirt and black slacks with a brown
overcoat around him. He has a sharp face and deep brown eyes.)

Man: yeah yeah, whatever. So, what ya lookin at now George? *grins*

Watcher: *growls* Right now I'm overseeing a dimensional merge. (points
to the pond where the colors have stopped flashing and two distinct
patterns of stars are slowly starting to move in on each other.)

Man: wow, that sounds interesting...(looks around the base of the stump
and sees some pebbles. he bends down and picks one up, eyeing it
curiously) hey, what are these pebbles doing here?

Watcher: *turns to the man* oh those? these were just something that
some deities were playing with awhile back. Seems that they were having
some kind of 'bet' going on...

Man: oh, really? thats interesting...(starts tossing the pebble up and
down, only to have it land right in the pond. The pebble lands with a
splash, small droplets rising from where the pebble was and landing,
making dozens of ripples across the pond surface) whoops *looks
sheepish*

Watcher: AHHH! Do you know what you just did!?!

Man: umm...did I just seriously disturb a Dimensional merging by
throwing a outside body created by deities into a crucial nexus, thereby
making countless changes into the new universes timeline?

Watcher: (looks shocked) umm...yes, thats exactly right.

Man: Cool! (grins)

Watcher: (just sighs and looks into the pond, seeing how much damage
that pebble did)


*****

(Cut to a new scene. We now see a rural village somewhere in the remote
regions of japan. A group of Women are chasing a small wrinkled old man
with a large pack and 2 other younger men with similar packs. They all
seem to be running for their lives)

Random Woman: Stop you perverts!

Happosai: (laughs) hey boys! isn't this fun?

Young Genma: (turns to the other young man) maybe this wasn't such a
good idea Tendo, getting training from Happosai.

Young Soun: (turns to Genma) True Saotome, but no one can match the
master in skill. We are learning much from him, nonetheless. Even though
the training is.....different.

(The camera now swings to a small stand a while down the path. We see a
old man in priests robes buying some produce. Although he looks old, you
can easily see he is still quite healthy and strong. He also has a
bokken hanging to his side)

Katsuhito (hope I spelled that write ^_^): <Life has changed since
Achika got married a month ago. The temple seems so much emptier without
her.> (Suddenly notices the stampede of Women chasing after the trio of
martial artists. He yells to the croud) HEY! WHATS WRONG?

Random Women B: These perverts stole our underwear!(Swings her broom at
Genma who barely avoids it)

Katsuhito: hmmm...(steps into the middle of the path and draws his
bokken. As The group approaches he shifts to the Jurian Sword stance.
^Its sorta like standing on one foot, holding the other leg up bent, and
having your sword held up high and your other hand in front of your
chest. Best way I could describe it  =)^ )

Happosai: (is still laughing but suddenly notices Katsuhito and looks
shocked) <That stance! It can't be! nearly 50 years...> (Katsuhito
swings his bokken down on Happosai and connects right on his head,
knocking him unconscious. The crowd then gangs up on The old freak,
beating him into a thin paste. Genma and Soun seem to have been
forgotten by the angry mob)

Y-Genma: *whispers to Y-Soun while staring at Katsuhito* Soun! That man
brought the master down with one stroke!

Y-Tendo: *whispers back* I know Genma.... (Y-Genma and Y-Soun suddenly
get on their knees and start pleading with Katsuhito) Thank you for
saving us from the evil master!

Y-Genma: yes! We beg that you will let us become your desciples!

Katsuhito: *looks at the boys appraisingly* hmmm....what were you doing
with Happosai?

Y-Tendo: The master was the best martial artist we had ever seen!...that
is...until you. We are students of the art and we only wished to learn
from the best! no matter how perverted....

Y-Genma: We know the error of our ways now! We should not have followed
the evil master! please! we beg of you to have you teach us! *bows
deeply, his head to the ground*

Katsuhito: *looks thoughtful* since you have seen the error of your
ways, I will take you as disciples, but you must work at my shrine and
maintain it until I will teach you. (Soun and Genma both bow repeatedly
in thanks)

to be continued....

So! Soun and Genma both become disciples of Katsuhito now! how will this
change Ranma and the rest of the tenchi and ranma casts?

Ranma and Akane becomming expert kendoists? (Ranma will probably study
some/alot of hand to hand stuff on the road to.)

Genma actually developing a conscience? (I know! your thinking
"Impossible!" but hey, I think the old jerk deserves some kind of a
break now)

A change of engagements? (Soun, Genma, and Nobuyuki: Now our families
can finally be joined!)

and what about all those other ripples?

Achika doesn't die? (maybe Kain never went back in time)

Nobuyuki decides to study under Katsuhito in his spare time. (maybe
become friends with Genma and Soun this way?)

Happosai running to china and getting in a tangle with the amazons?
(either Happy reforms or he gets dunked in The 'spring of virtuous man'
^_^ maybe both.)

Kuno's mom never dies/leaves (a sane kuno family....thats just
crazy....They'ed probably all still be stuck up as hell though....maybe
this isn't such a good idea...)

Genma never leaves Nodoka? (Either she goes along on the training trip
or they never leaves home.)

either alot less or alot more engagements (depends on how Nodoka is
going to be. "Ranma is so manly he has a dozen fiancees!")

The Tendo mother doesn't die? (I know its been overdone like anything,
but hey? I gotta consider it)


I know you might be thinking now, "Hey! theres so many inconsistencies
here that it doesn't make any bloody sense!" well, ITS AN ALITVERSE!
LIVE WITH IT! if you think anythings weird, like Katsuhito actually
taking students, well....(points to above line) ^_^. I know this thing
has a ton of grammatical and/or spelling errors already, but I'm just
too damn lazy to correct it right now. I'll send a cleaned up version
once I get some comments on this sucka ^_^.  oh yeah, if anyone might
want to pick this story up, PLEASE DO! I almost never have any time to
write, maybe once every month or 2. So if anyone else likes this idea,
just ask me for it and I'll gladly hand it over, I'd like to see where
my ideas go. well, thats it for now. Ja!
