Well it has been awhile since I last posted Past/Future.  For that I apologize
to the readers.  I am still working on Chapter 10 and I can say for a fact
that it is as long as any of the previous chapters at this time.  I am aiming
for about 60-100 k worth, presently only at 18 k.  I shall release a chapter
every week, each will already be revised or will be.  I should be done by the
end of Feburary. 

Please do not post or change these stories in any way without my permission.

      The Earth was a beautiful planet, full of life and energy.  Following
Second Impact, the beauty that once was, is no more.  Humans had contaminated
and upset the sensitive balance, Mother Nature had so carefully planned.  In
less than three millenniums, mankind had destroyed, what took billions of
years to create.  

      It is no wonder that now after Second Impact, mankind was to be judged.
A trial to see if they were worthy enough to continued in their present
existence.  Today marked the arrival of Heaven's machine of judgment.  Today
marked the arrival of the Angels. 

      To prevent Third Impact and the annihilation of humankind, Nerv was
created to battle these so called Angels.  Their weapons of choice were giant
semi-organic robots which stood several stories high.  The only hope for
mankind were these so called Evangelion or Eva and the young pilots who rode
them into battle.    

      So far, only four individuals have been chosen as protectors of mankind:
Ayanami Rei, First Child; Soryu Asuka Langley, Second Child; Ikari Shinji,
Third Child; Suzuhara Toji, Fourth Child.  These four young heroes, who were
born only months after Second Impact, were the last line of defense for the
human race.  Soon a fifth shall join their rank in the battle for mankind,
donning the mantle of an Eva pilot.  He too will soon be tested, as he pass
into the flames of judgement.  For the hopes of humanity resided in him and
our four other heroes.
