Not sure if this is the first crossover attempt at a Rurouni Kenshin/Ranma
fic, I haven't seen any, but here goes. I am using a few liberties being a
fanfic writer. I released this about half a year ago and am finally getting
back to it. I almost finished the entire Rurouni Kenshin series and that was
what spurred me on. Enjoy!

characters are also a bit OOC. Explain some time later.

Two men were squaring off, each in their respected battle stance. One
had a red bandana, wearing a white shirt with matching pants. Embroiled on
the back of his shirt was the kanji, 'Bad' . The other was wearing a red
shirt and black pants. Embroiled on the front of his shirt was a golden
dragon. He had two bracers on and his hair in a pigtail.
"I heard you're one of the best fighters around this area," the red
shirt young man commented, "I haven't had a good challenge in awhile."
"Yeah? Well I'll give you a going away gift to remember this fight by,"
the white shirt young man spoke, cracking his knuckles.
"Name's Saotome Ranma, of the Musabetsu Kakuto Ryuu."
"Sagara Sanosuke, former member of the Sakihora."
Ranma was in a loose fighting stance with his hands behind his back.
Sano was in a mixed stance between Karate and Kempo. Upon the hill, a man
with red hair watched. Beside him a kid with black hair wearing a yellow
shirt with black spots.
Looking up at his companion, "That guy gonna get his butt kicked by
Sano, Kenshin. He doesn't even knock how to fight." he commented.
"Don't be to sure. He's gauging Sano's abilities." Kenshin replied.
Seeing as how his opponent was not going to begin the battle, Sano
charged Ranma. Throwing a punch, expecting it to contact, he was suprised
that instead of his fist impacting flesh, he had completely missed, Ranma had
just leaned to one side.
Feeling the air pressure cut his shirt, *He's just as strong as Ryouga
and a bit faster.* Dodging a few more punches, *He's good. Not as good as
Ryouga but still have to be careful not to let him hit me.* "Is that the best
you can do?" Ranma taunted.
"I'm just warming up," Sano answered. *He's fast.*
Having dodged another combination of punches, Ranma unleashed a few of
his own.
"That's not possible! That guy hurt Sano with one punch." Yahiko
exclaimed.
"It wasn't one punch," Kenshi corrected.
"Nani?"
"I counted 123 punched," Kenshi continued, "and he's holding back."
Clutching his stomach, "Don't think a few punches will stop me," Sano
warned. Seeing the cocky grin of his opponent's face, started to piss him
off.
*Wonder what this guy would be like if he were to learn the Bakusai
Tenketsu.* A shiver ran through Ranma at the thought. Someone who was twice
as strong as Ryouga and who doesn't lose his cool was not a pleasant thought.
*Why can't I hit him?* Sano berated himself.
Trying to enrage his opponent, "I've got your timing down and that kanji
suits you. You suck at fighting."
"What's he doing?" Yahiko asked, "He looks like he wants a beating."
"No, he's trying to make Sano mad. If he succeeds, he will win."
Wiping the sweat from his brow, Sano cursed himself. *I'm not going to
lose!*
Ranma was smiling, avoiding his opponent's charge, Ranma unleashed a few
more punches with the power of his Kach Tenshin Amaguriken training behind
it.
Kneeling over, Sano fainted.
Ranma was about to check on his opponent when he felt another fighter's
aura. Looking up at the hill, Ranma spotted Kenshin. Smiling, "Your friend
was good. Want to give it a try?"
"Oro?"
Smiling, "You're good at hiding your battle aura. I almost missed it,
Hitokiri Battousai. No one here is close to you.
"Why?"
"It's something I have to do. I try to be the best and the only way is by
fighting those within my caliber. Fight me, Master Assasin. I will not kill
you."
