Chapter 2 - "K" is for Kunzite, That's Good Enough for Me!
After nearly inhaling her last pizza slice and draining the two liter
bottle of soda, Misako gave a belch that shook the windows. [Misako!]
Usagi exclaimed astonished, and just a little disgusted.
[Hey, it's nice not having to be a lady all the time,] Misako retorted,
['Sides, revenge makes me hungry.] Usagi was about to respond but
decided that continuing on with the story would be the wisest course of
action.
It was early morning the next day. The sky was yet again a
clear blue. Small powder-puff clouds dotted the sky. As the
early morning sunshine rose from the east, the forces of evil
were up early as well.
"Is this a zit?!?" Jadeite demanded while shoving his face
towards Zoisite. He staggered backwards as Zoisite shoved him
away. "I don't want to be like this!" Being seventeen was one
thing, getting a zit would be too much!
"Forget about it, Jadeite," Zoisite growled while trying to
get flour out of his hair, "At least you didn't get stuck in a
cutesy apron." He turned his head to see Nephrite snicker.
"Shove it, `Neph-chan'; at least Kunzite and I aren't
Crystal's little play things."
Nephrite stopped his snickering and walked menacingly towards
Zoisite. "I kicked your ass when we were adults, `Zoi-chan',
and I think I'll have an easier time of it like this."
"Oh yeah?!?" Zoisite demanded, "If you were so tough, how come
you fell for that little tramp Naru?" That must have hit a
nerve because Nephrite gave a snarl of rage and ran towards
Zoisite. However before he got close, Zoisite vanished in a
swirl of rose petals.
"Coward!!!!" Nephrite snarled shaking his fist toward the sky,
"At least I found a woman."
"You show more respect to Kunzite-sama!" Zoisite shouted as he
reappeared and swung at Nephrite with a candlestick. Nephrite
dodged backward, and hit Jadeite squarely in the face.
"My nose..." Jadeite whimpered as he clutched his nose and
staggered back to the couch. "Oh, I think it's broken!"
"What's goin' on in here?!?" Crystal demanded. She was wearing
a set of pink bunny pajamas and carrying Rei-chan under her
arm. Seeing Jadeite clutching his nose, she leaned forward and
asked, "What's the matter, Jed-chan?" Jadeite opened his mouth
to respond but all that came out was a squeaking noise. "Ah...
Jed-chan's got an ouchy," Crystal observed as she gently
removed Jadeite's hands. "Let me kiss it all better." With
that, she moved closer and gave him a gentle kiss on his nose.
He felt the blood rush to his cheeks as he was suddenly
overwhelmed with embarrassment. What surprised Crystal even
more was that Jadeite's nose suddenly started to bleed.
"Kunzite, bring the first-aid kit, Jed-chan's got a boo-boo."
Nephrite, who had been staring at Crystal, turned to see
Kunzite entering the room. He covered his mouth to stop the
laughter from coming out as he noticed Kunzite was wearing a
frilly pink apron with the words, "sugar and spice and
everything nice."
Several miles away, Will sat at the small table in the kitchen
while reading over the morning newspaper. Hearing a noise, he
turned and blinked as Doug came walking into the kitchen with a
large box. "What's that?"
"First-aid kit," Doug replied, "I found out yesterday that I
share most of my classes with Usagi and Makoto." Pouring a cup
of coffee, he shook his head and added, "Given Usagi's
inherent nature for physical harm, I think I'll go prepared."
He had been warned that Usagi's klutziness was legendary.
"Did you meet anybody that didn't try to clobber you, Doug?"
Will asked with a smirk.
"Actually, yeah. One was a Aino Minako, very nice looking
girl, a little standoffish. Apparently, she's Usagi's friend
too. Then there's this Mizuno Ami. I think she's a walking
supercomputer."
"Hopefully today won't be so eventful," Will replied, "Or
maybe it'll be my turn. Anyway, good luck. I'm sure it was
just first day jitters."
"Well, I should go," Doug replied, "Ja ne!"
"Ja ne."
A short time later at Nephrite's cathedral mansion, Crystal
was making her displeasure known. She pouted before wailing,
"This isn't kawaii!!!!"
"I know, Your Highness," Nephrite soothed, "But all girls that
attend Juuban High School wear this."
"Are you sure, Neph-chan?" Crystal asked sulkily, "I wanted
something pink with a shorter skirt." She hugged Rei-chan to
her chest and added, "I don't wanna leave Rei-chan at home.
She'll get lonely."
"Your Highness," Kunzite warned with barely controlled
annoyance, "You have to see how powerful the Sailor Senshi
have become. They'd recognize us." Seeing she was looking
rather reluctant, he added, "You do want to make those Senshi
pay for killing Queen Beryl."
"Hai," Crystal sniffled out, "Okay Kun-chan, but you hafta
watch Rei-chan for me." She gave the teddy bear a kiss before
handing it to Kunzite. "You take good care of her for me."
"I will, Your Highness," Kunzite replied. <Accidents do happen
though.>
[You're telling me,] Misako grumbled out.
Usagi gave her a dark look before asking, [Ne, if the Generals know who
the Senshi are, why don't they just attack them when they're in civilian
form?]
[Why didn't you tell Mother who you really were when you dropped on top
of her head, 'Sagi-chan?] Misako questioned.
[I was a little kid,] Usagi shot back defensively.
[Same thing with Crystal,] Misako responded. Usagi stared at her sister
for several seconds before shrugging and turning back to the story.
At Juuban High School, Doug sat nervously looking at Usagi as
they waited for classes to begin. "I'm really, really sorry
about yesterday, Doug-kun," she said bowing her head, "I've
been so good about not crashing into people lately."
"You mean..." Doug began while raising an eyebrow, "you've
hurt more people than just me?" Usagi shifted uncomfortably
and nodded slightly. <Hmmmm... Well maybe I shouldn't be mad
at her then.> "Well I suppose I could forgive a pretty girl
like you?" This caused Usagi to blush but Makoto scowled.
"And what about me?" Makoto demanded as she lowered her face
to glare into Doug's eyes. Doug gulped.
"How could I ever remain angry at someone so enchanting?"
Blinking, Doug thought, <What the hell am I saying?!?> "I take
that back." Makoto looked angry and hurt. Instead, he took her
hand and said, "Makoto-san, you're the most awe inspiring
creature I have ever seen."
[Laying it a little thick, ne 'Sagi-chan?] Misako questioned.
[Nah, Makoto probably loves this type of thing.]
<He looks like my old sempai,> she mused in a daze. "Arigato,"
Makoto mumbled out as she blushed. She and Usagi moved towards
their seats as the Sensei entered the classroom, followed by
another girl. One with long flowing red hair and two white
bows.
<Wonder why she's so sad looking?> Doug thought absent
mindedly, but his more intense focus was on Usagi. <What is it
about her? Or Makoto for that matter?>
"Class, this is Crystal. She'll be joining us." Crystal
grinned at the class and bowed. Most of the boys' eyes almost
popped out. "Why don't you find a seat, Crystal-san."
[Shouldn't she have a family name?] Usagi inquired.
[I checked, Onee-chan. All the enemies in the history books only had one
name,] Misako pointed out. Usagi was about to ask why everyone was in
Usagi's class but decided not to broach that subject.
"Hai!" Crystal chirped and bounced over to sit beside Doug,
much to the annoyance of Makoto. "Hiyeee!!!" Crystal chirped
brightly, "You must be new too." <He looks like one of the
Generals...> That brought a frown onto her face. <Did I forget
one?> She stuck a finger in her mouth and started sucking on
it. <Hmmm... I'll have to ask them when I get home.>
Will was sitting in the university library reading a book when
he felt the now familiar sensation come over him. Upon lifting
his head, his suspicions were confirmed when Chiba Mamoru
walked in through the door. Deciding that this was as good a
time as any to talk to him, Will got up, closed the book, and
walked towards Mamoru.
"Excuse me, Chiba-san," Will said while bowing, "I have this
funny feeling as if we've met before?"
"I don't believe so," Mamoru replied, "Except for going to
Harvard for a short time, I haven't ever been to the States,
Wo'fsho'l-san."
Will boggled slightly, "You better just call me `Will'. My
last name gives plenty of people trouble. Getting back to the
original subject. You went to Harvard, but then why come
here?" Not to say that this wasn't a fine school; it was just
a rather large shock.
"Oh well..." Mamoru explained sheepishly, "Anytime I'm away
for long periods, my girlfriend seems to get herself into
trouble." He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled. "But it
seems that even with me here, she can get into plenty of
trouble as well." <There's something about this guy... like I
should know him.>
Will grinned, "Isn't that how it goes?"
"Hai," Mamoru agreed with a grin of his own, "Ne, would you do
me a favor, Will-san?"
"Nani?"
"Would you... I mean, if it wasn't too much trouble, would you
come and let me introduce you to Usagi."
"Usagi?" Will questioned, "Tsukino Usagi?" Mamoru was slightly
startled at having this stranger know his girlfriend. After
Mamoru nodded, Will grinned. "I'd like to meet her. She
happened to assault a friend of mine." Mamoru covered his face
with his hands and moaned slightly. "Not to worry. Every
thing's fine."
"Are you sure you don't want any more, Doug-chan?" Makoto
questioned as she looked at the bento box, "I made it
especially for you."
"Honestly, Mako-chan, I'm stuffed." He then added, "Doesn't
mean I won't take this home, if you'll allow me to." Makoto
grinned happily at him and nodded. "You really didn't have to
do this for me."
"Hai, I did," Makoto responded and then bowing her head while
blushing, "I mean, I should have watched where I was going. I
was acting just like Usagi. She..." As if her name was a
signal, Usagi came running around the corner, laughing
hysterically.
"Oh no!" Doug moaned in English.
"USAGI!!!!!" Naru roared, "Get back here!!!!"
"Oh just wait till I get that picture developed. Kami-sama, I
never thought they'd come up for... iiyeeeeee!!!!" Usagi cried
as she tripped over the root of a tree and went sprawling.
Doug, having suspected something like this might occur, in a
fluid motion, moved to the side and covered his head as Usagi
went sailing by.
"Oh, that's gotta hurt," he muttered out as Usagi plowed a
furrow into the ground. "Let's go help her," he said to
Makoto.
"All right," Makoto said reluctantly. <Just wait, Usagi. You
didn't need to ruin the nice lunch we were having!> Usagi
simply didn't understand how important the right mood was.
<She so lucky, finding her true love the way she did,> Makoto
thought as she walked towards her friend, <Usagi just doesn't
realize how lucky she is.>
Crystal skipped happily into the cathedral. "I'm back! Did ya
miss me?"
"Did you see the Sailor Senshi?" Kunzite questioned.
"Hai," Crystal chirped, "Where is everybody?"
"Oh, they're taking care of a little business, Your Highness,"
Kunzite replied grinning evilly. Somewhere in the Dark
Kingdom, Nephrite and Zoisite snickered as they shoved a
hog-tied Jadeite into a closet. "Anyway, Rei-chan missed you,"
Kunzite replied and produced a slightly singed Rei-chan.
"Rei-chan!" Crystal cried in surprise. Her eyes started to
mist over as she hugged the damaged teddy bear. "What
happened?"
"Oh, you know how dangerous things are when... you play with
fire," Kunzite explained, a smile twitching the corner of his
lips.
[You never did that to one of my teddy bears,] Misako commented.
[I know, Miko-chan,] Usagi replied with a giggle, [But I hear Noriko
tried to sacrifice one of her otouto's teddy bears to the Sacred Fire.]
Will chuckled good naturedly as Mamoru told him of his
girlfriend Usagi. "I really love her," Mamoru admitted, "It's
just sometimes..." he trailed off and waved his hands in the
air, "It gets very, very frustrating."
"She sounds like a good hearted person, Mamoru-san," Will
replied, "So what would you want, a more intelligent
girlfriend or one with lots of compassion?"
"Depends if she destroys my homework assignments or not,
Will-san," Mamoru replied. Then shaking his head, he added, "I
made the mistake once of pushing her away. I'm not going to do
that again. We were destined to be together."
"So where are we meeting Usagi and her friends?"
"Here," Mamoru replied, "This is the Hikawa Shrine.
Hino-ojiisan runs the shrine. His granddaughter Rei and
Yuuichiro help him." As they mounted the steps to the shrine
grounds, they could hear voices. As they drew closer, it
appeared to be some type of argument.
"Usagi," a raven-haired girl snapped tersely, "Don't be such
an airhead!"
"But Rei-chan," Usagi whined, "You know I can't study on an
empty stomach." She pouted and then added, "I hope Mamo-chan
gets here soon with the food."
"Good thing I brought lots," Mamoru muttered out. Will
snickered at this. "Konnichiwa!" he called out.
"Mamo-chan!" Usagi cried happily. Springing up from the step
where she had been seated, she raced across the courtyard
before launching herself at her boyfriend. "I missed you so
much!" Her bright blue eyes revealing feelings she could never
express.
"I missed you as well," Mamoru replied, "Sweet Usako." Drawing
her close, he kissed her deeply. "The day would not be
complete without my eyes gazing upon your radiant beauty."
"Um," Will interrupted, "Konnichiwa." As he watched the lovers
come back to reality, he grimaced slightly. <Isn't she a
little young for Mamoru?> He quickly pushed that thought away;
it wasn't any of his business.
"And who's this?" Usagi asked.
Before Will could answer, a voice drew his attention, "Hai,
who is this?" Blushing slightly, she added, "I'm Aino Minako."
"Wolfshohl, Will," Will mumbled out and bowed. "Truly this
shrine's beauty is only enhanced by such lovely ladies."
"He's kawaii, Mamoru-kun. Where'd you get him?" Minako
questioned and then sighed.
"Mina," the raven-haired girl warned. "Gomen Wolfshohl-san,
Minako sometimes doesn't know what she's talking about." Then
blushing, "I'm Hino Rei. Welcome to the Hikawa Shrine."
Turning to the other girl, she added, "This is Mizuno Ami."
Ami gave him a curt nod before turning back to the thick book
she had been reading.
"Arigato," Will replied, "I'm very pleased to meet you,
Aino-san, Hino-san, Mizuno-san." Turning to the remaining
girl, he added, "And I may then assume you're Tsukino-san?"
Before Usagi could answer, a voice drew the group's attention.
"Hey minna, what's up?" To Will's surprise, he saw a fairly
tall girl with brown hair done up in a ponytail. He grinned
and waved when he saw Doug with her.
"You two know each other?" Usagi questioned.
"Hai," Doug responded.
"And what were you two up to, Mako-chan?" Minako questioned
while winking at Makoto who blushed slightly.
"N-Nothing," Makoto stuttered out and then glared as Minako
giggled. "He was showing me how to do chin-ups if you wanted
to know, Minako." Although she had spent a good portion of her
time looking at his muscles rippling.
"He was hiding on me," Usagi pouted out.
"Do you blame him?" Rei questioned, "You nearly clobbered him
twice in a row." Mamoru moaned slightly so Rei said, "She was
running around, not looking where she was going." <Again.>
"It wasn't that bad, minna," Doug replied, "I just happened to
be in her flight path." Rei scowled as he smiled. "Well, I
should go." He gave Makoto a winning smile, bid the others
good-bye, and sprinted off down the stairs.
"He's got such a dreamy car," Makoto remarked dreamily.
"Will-san, do you have a dreamy car?" Minako asked.
"Um, yeah, I mean hai," Will replied. He became a little
nervous as Minako sauntered up to him and wrapping her arms
around one of his before giving him a soft smile. <Wow, what's
she doing?!?> Although quite beautiful, this girl was way too
young for him.
"Think I could ride in it?"
"Minako," Ami hissed, "That would be unwise. You don't know
him." <Even though they're both very handsome.> Ami quickly
squelched that thought. While Minako glared at Ami, Usagi
gave Will a sheepish grin.
"So Will-san, how did you meet my Mamo-chan?"
"Well, actually..."
A short time later, Minako lowered her head to the low table
they were all sitting around and shook with mirth. "`A rabbit
ate my homework'?!?" she questioned through her laughter.
"Gomen, Usako," Mamoru replied, "I knew you were having
problems and I didn't have the report ready anyway..."
"You really sorry?" Usagi questioned.
"Of course, he is," Will speculated, "I mean, he probably did
it out of love, for you." When the others gave him a quizzical
look, he added, "Why would he risk embarrassment if he didn't
think so much about you, Usagi-san?" Usagi was giving this
some serious consideration so he added, "Besides, all the way
over here, he talked about you."
"Oh Mamo-chan," Usagi breathed out as she turned to stare
deeply into his eyes. They moved closer and kissed, the world
fading around them.
Minako sighed heavily and then got a funny look in her eyes.
"Ne, Will-san," Minako asked softly, "Would you show me how to
do chin-ups?"
As the sun started to sink further into the west, a slightly
chilly breeze rustled the leaves. Most citizens had headed
home for the evening, or out with friends. But if for some
reason they were to stumble onto a certain secluded area of
the park, they might have overheard a strange conversation.
"Obsidian, you understand what we have to do?" the voice
asked.
"Hai," Obsidian replied. A brilliant metallic blue caught the
moonlight as the figure turned his helmeted head. "But I don't
understand..."
"We have no need to understand. Our mission is clear. We must
not allow the Sailor Senshi to get the Guardian Earth Stone.
They have already caused enough havoc with the Ginzuishou."
There was a long pause and then the voice instructed, "Come,
Kunzite is moving to collect energy."
"How do you know?" Obsidian asked.
"Terra sings to me of his presence."
[Nani?!?] Usagi questioned, [Who the heck is that?!?] Misako just gave
her a small smile. [Come on, Misako, tell me!]
[Iie,] Misako answered firmly then suggested, ['Sagi, you do some. I
think nature's calling.] With that, she slid from the bed and hurried
into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. Usagi took the pencil in
her hand and began to write.
Kunzite wasn't sure what to feel. On the one hand, he was
annoyed that he, the greatest General of the Dark Kingdom, was
out collecting energy. A task best left to lowly youma. On the
other hand, he was feeling relief as actually being able to be
away from Princess Crystal.
He smiled grimly as his last victim fell. <Crystal said that
Sailor Moon was even more of a klutz...> His smile slipped
slightly as the rest of what Crystal said came to his mind.
<What was this about a fifth General?> There hadn't been one,
had there? He didn't know; his memory had gaps now.
"KUNZITE?!?" the voice questioned in shock before whining,
"You're supposed to be dead!" Kunzite turned to see Sailor
Moon standing atop a building.
He blinked as he noticed the modifications to her costume. "I
see that time hasn't improved your taste in clothing any,
Sailor Brat," he quipped. He grinned internally as Sailor
Moon's face reddened and she hopped down from the building.
"You can't even have PROPER wings?"
"Listen here, you... you..." Sailor Moon sputtered furiously
at the General. "I killed you!" she finally wailed, "It ain't
fair you came back!"
"Well maybe if you didn't do such a sloppy job in the first
place," Kunzite retorted while backing up. To his surprise, he
came up against something solid. Whirling around, he came face
to face with Jupiter. "Hey, what gives?" he complained,
"You're supposed to make a speech!"
"I was just waiting for the best time. You know it's very
important to get that dramatic timing down right," Jupiter
remarked.
"Evil demon of the past," cried a voice to his left, "I am the
Pretty Sailor-suited Soldier Sailor Mars and on behalf of the
planet Mars, I WILL PUNISH YOU!" Turning to Jupiter, she
gloated and asked Kunzite, "Like that?"
"Hai," he replied before vanishing.
"Come back here and fight, coward!" Mercury yelled. The others
looked at her in surprise. "I'm in a bad mood," she explained
tersely.
"Now what do we do, minna?" Venus questioned, "This is way
anticlimactic."
"Hai, I know but did you see that pink outfit of his?" Sailor
Mars asked giggling.
Much to their surprise, they heard Kunzite's voice once again,
"I am the First General of Queen Beryl. HER chosen avatar!" As
the Senshi looked up, they noticed Kunzite was standing atop a
lamppost. "In the name of the Dark Kingdom, and that bodacious
babe Beryl, I WILL PUNISH YOU!" Kunzite blinked, <Beryl...
bodacious?!? What the hell's going on with me?!>
"Kami-sama, he's changed," Venus replied, "And not just in the
mental department. Check out that body!"
"Venus!" Artemis admonished, "Just clobber him and get it over
with!"
"All right already!" Venus pouted, "VENUS... LOVE AND
BEAUTY... SHOCK!" She gave a squeal of delight as her attack
blew apart the lamppost. "Got him!"
"Iie, you didn't," Kunzite replied shaking his head, "And you
call that an attack, you blonde bimbo?" Drawing himself up to
his full height, he added, "Now this is an attack." Raising
his hands, he concentrated before shouting, "BUNNY
BOOMERANGS!" <What the...> He watched in fascination as a set
of pink glowing, bunny head-shaped, boomerangs materialized in
his hands instead of his expected Dark Energy ones. What was
even more of shock was that they actually worked.
The first boomerang took Mercury by surprise; Mars was clipped
by the other one. With a snarl, Sailor Jupiter charged Kunzite
but he was ready for her attack and easily tossed her aside.
She sailed through the air and hit Mars, stunning her. Jupiter
lay unconscious atop her.
"VENUS..." Venus started her attack again but Kunzite was
prepared.
"GIANT BUNNY SUIT FROM HELL!" He grinned broadly as Venus
cried in dismay as she found herself wearing a giant pink
bunny outfit, complete with a large carrot, floppy ears, and
powder-puff white tail.
[Misako?] Usagi questioned, [Are you okay?] Misako came out of the
bathroom, and heaved a sigh. [I thought you were sick or something.]
[Nah,] Misako replied, [So what happened, 'Sagi-chan?] Sitting down
beside Usagi, she looked over what her sister had written. [Generals
don't use attack phrases,] she stated with some exasperation.
[Oh come on, Peanut,] Usagi pleaded, [It won't hurt, ne? And I did use
bunnies.]
Misako gave it some thought and then nodded. [Okay Onee-chan.] She
frowned slightly. [Did you have to put Minako in a bunny suit?] Usagi
just snickered. [Well, I guess it's my turn then.]
While Venus struggled to remove the bunny suit, Sailor Moon
decided that it was time to take care of the enemy for good.
"KUNZITE!!!!" Sailor Moon shouted, running forward. She was
about to attack when she tripped and landed on the ground
hard. "Owei!" she exclaimed before she began to cry.
<This is just too easy,> Kunzite thought. "Where's Tuxedo
Kamen?" He owed "Prince" Endymion some pay back. He was about
to take a step forward when a pink buttercup flew between him
and Sailor Moon. <That isn't a rose...>
[Er... Miko-chan, buttercups aren't pink.]
[Will's are,] Misako replied.
[But Miko-chan...] Usagi started to protest.
[Pink,] Misako stated firmly. Usagi pouted slightly. What was wrong with
the color pink?
"Tuxedo Kamen-sama?!?" Sailor Moon questioned. They both
stared at the figure who was standing upon the edge of a
nearby building.
"I am not Tuxedo Kamen, but I am... TUXEDO WILL!!!" the figure
declared, "`B' movies like you should stay in their
projectors. On behalf of the planet Earth, I WILL PUNISH YOU!"
Kunzite started to snicker. "Hey, I thought it was good!"
Tuxedo Will complained. This just caused Kunzite to laugh even
harder. That's when a rose streaked from behind him and struck
Kunzite in the shoulder.
"TUXEDO KAMEN-SAMA!" Sailor Moon shouted with dreamy eyes,
"You're here!"
"Be careful, Sailor Moon, enemies of the past know your
attacks," Tuxedo Kamen warned.
<That one actually makes sense,> Sailor Moon thought. "Well he
doesn't know this one!" Scrambling to her feet, she glared at
Kunzite before yelling, "SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER KISS!"
Kunzite gave a howl of denial as Sailor Moon's attack washed
over him.
As Eternal Sailor Moon's attack faded away, they saw Kunzite
stagger around. "It didn't kill him?!?" Mars asked in shock.
As Kunzite raised his hands to attack anew, Tuxedo Will
snapped a hand out and launched several pink buttercups at
Kunzite. As they shredded his flesh and fell to the ground,
the General began to quickly crumble, revealing a strange
looking stone of some type. It was green and brown with an
eerie glow to it.
"Nani?" Sailor Moon questioned as she knelt to pick it up.
"Look out!" Tuxedo Kamen cried. Dashing heroically forward, he
caught Sailor Moon and pulled her away from the oncoming
figure. The Sailor Senshi watched as a figure dressed in blue
metallic armor came running through. With a somersault, he
landed by the remains of Kunzite and snatched up the strange
glowing rock. Turning a helmeted head, he gazed at Sailor Moon
for a long moment before bounding away again.
"Stop!" Mars shouted. She heaved a semi-conscious Jupiter off
of her and prepared to attack.
"Lunar Bunny Cuddly Kiss!" the armored figure's voice rumbled
out. Mars gave a shriek of surprise as a giant blue bunny came
hopping towards her.
"MARS... FLAME SNIPER!" Mars shouted, killing the giant rabbit
with one of her flaming arrows.
"Oh Tuxedo Kamen-sama," Sailor Moon breathed as he helped her
to her feet. "You saved me." He didn't say anything, instead
he stared deeply into her misty blue eyes before pulling her
close to kiss him.
A sense of happiness and regret crashed like a tidal wave over
Tuxedo Will. <Otouto...> he thought sadly, <Endymion and
Serenity.> He noticed the other Senshi looking at the Prince
and Princess. Another thought suddenly struck him, <Venus...
Minako.> That was her name in this time. His heart ached for a
moment.
Usagi noticed Misako glowering at her so she heaved a sigh and pushed
the notion to the back of her mind. Turning, she continued writing.
"Ne, do they always do that?" Tuxedo Will asked. The other
Sailor Senshi faced him, ready to attack. "Whoa!" he said
while taking a step back, "I'm on your side."
"That's right, minna. He helped save Sailor Moon," Venus
replied. She then gave Tuxedo Will a wink. "And he had such an
awesome attack too!" She apparently failed to notice that she
was still in the bunny suit.
"Who are you?" Jupiter demanded finally recovered from the
attack.
Before Tuxedo Will could respond, Mercury replied, "Will-san."
The others blinked. "This is impossible!" Jupiter cried out,
"Where did he come from?"
"The Silver Millennium," Artemis answered as he walked
forward, "I thought I sensed something about him when I was
following him and Minako yesterday."
"You were following us?" Venus asked in a deadly tone. <See if
I feed you tonight,> she thought darkly.
"The Silver Millennium?" Mars asked, "So who was he back
then?"
"Prince Endymion's onii," Artemis answered. The others gaped
at him.
"I didn't know Prince Endymion had an onii," Luna remarked.
"You didn't remember about there not being a Sailor Moon
either, Luna," Mercury grumbled out.
Before Luna could retort though, Jupiter broke in and said,
"That's great! Hey, Tuxedo Kamen-sama, come meet your
brother." Neither Sailor Moon nor Tuxedo Kamen moved a muscle;
they were lost in passion.
Suddenly there was a high-pitched voice that sang out from
above, "Konbanwa!"
Sailor Moon snapped her head up to look at a small figure that
was falling from the sky. She was about to protest the
unfairness of it all when the figure landed fully on her face.
As she crumpled to the ground, Sailor Moon sighed while
thinking, <Not again!>
The figure turned out to be a little girl of about five years
old. She had long flowing black hair and sparkling green eyes
which looked deeply at Tuxedo Kamen. "Konbanwa Mamo-chan!" she
greeted again.
"Who are you, little girl?" Tuxedo Kamen stuttered out, holding
the child in his arms.
"I'm Misako."
[U-SA-GI!] Misako growled out warningly. [Give me that.] Taking away the
notepad and pencil, she scowled and then wrote.
"Um... no wait, I'm Terra," Terra replied. <Who's Misako?>
"I don't care who you are," Sailor Moon snarled as she stood
up, "You're really gonna get it." Terra turned to look with
some fear at the Senshi. She hid her face against Tuxedo
Kamen's chest while wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Sailor Moon," Tuxedo Kamen warned, "Don't be mean to her."
"You two-timing, no good sack-a..."
"Sailor Moon!" Luna snapped, "Watch your language."
"Bite me," Sailor Moon replied. For the briefest of moments,
she thought Luna might actually take her up on the request.
"Please don't be angry with her, Luna," Terra replied,
"Usagi's always been jealous of other women... or children for
that matter, around her Mamo-chan." The little girl grinned up
mischievously at Tuxedo Kamen and added, "Isn't that correct,
Mamo-chan?"
Tuxedo Will was feeling quite out of place when Venus sighed.
She turned to him and stated, "Don't worry, Will-chan, this
happens all the time."
"It does?" Tuxedo Will questioned.
"Oh sure, it does. There was Chibi-Usa, and then Misako, and
then Chibi-Chibi, and now Terra. Actually, I'm just surprised
it took this long. The only question is how is Terra related
to Usagi?" Sliding closer to him, Venus purred out,
"Will-chan, why didn't tell me you were such a hunky
superhero?" She was trying to be romantic. It just didn't work
in a giant bunny suit.
[Doesn't anybody notice the bunny suit?] Misako questioned.
[Iie Miko-chan,] Usagi snickered, [She stays in that bunny suit until
she notices... and that won't be a while.] Usagi started to laugh
maniacally until she thought of something. [Ne?] Usagi questioned, [Why
do both of them have to be in good shape?]
[Plot,] Misako chirped, [Besides, Onee-chan, it'll be more fun this way
at the end.]
[So who was that voice?]
[Nani? What voice?]
[Misako...] Usagi began but gave a disgusted sigh when Misako simply
grinned.
Crystal wasn't handling Kunzite's death very well. "Oh
Neph-chan!" she wailed, "They killed Kun-chan!" She buried her
face against him, glad that at least one of the Generals would
comfort her. "He was gonna read me a bedtime story too."
"I know, Your Highness," Nephrite replied as he gently stroked
Crystal's hair, "I know you cared about Kunzite." Gently he
lifted her chin and brushed away her tears. "But he did get
energy for us. We have enough now for a few ugly youma."
"Not yet, we should take care of the Senshi first. Mommy was
killed by Usagi, and now Kun-chan..." She gave a little sob
again before adding, "She's gonna pay. I'll make sure of it. I
just didn't do enough research."
[Miko-chan, can't she just resurrect Kunzite again?] Usagi wondered.
[Iie,] Misako answered simply.
"Your Highness, it's late," Nephrite stated, "You have school
tomorrow. You should go to bed." Crystal shook her head before
snuggling close. "You don't have to be scared; we will protect
you," Nephrite reassured her. Crystal's only response was to
stick her thumb in her mouth and close her eyes.
As Nephrite held his princess close, a warm feeling came over
him. It felt good to comfort her for some reason and it felt
familiar.
Hiding in the shadows of the doorway, Zoisite glowered. <The
Senshi will pay, Kunzite-sama,> he thought angrily, <I swear
it.>
