private e-mail. If you wish to register your displeasure, please mail the
list owner (not me) directly.

The question has been raised as to whether or not this is a flame, or
merely a sarcastic poke at prevalent racist views in Japan. The intent was
unclear to many of us, it would seem. Theoretically I have the power to
disipline the list owner, and will be beginning a short inquiry as to
whether such a step will in fact be taken. 

In any event, the matter is being looked into. You can respond to this any
way to like, so long as it isn't a post to the FFML. If you absolutely
have to comment on in, put said comment at the end of a lengthy piece of
C&C. Lengthy does not mean three sentences. Replies to such comments are
also strongly discouraged.
