Not necessarily.  We don't know just how long ago it was that the Juraian
colonization took place.  Even if we assumed that Juraian script is the
basis for Japanese, which it really isn't :), that script may have changed
and evolved since then and now.  In the same manner, the Juraian language
and writing system may also have slowly changed and evolved on the
homeworld.
