I've been wondering...  Why is the Enterprise the ship that is handling
this investigation?  After all, the Juraian ship _is_ orbitting Earth, 

or

is pretty damn near it.  So, wouldn't Star Fleet just send up a shuttle 

or

something to check it out instead of having the big E handle it?  After
all, Star Fleet's Star Base 1 is also orbitting Earth.

If it's going to be in Earth's solar system at all, it should be in the 
asteroid belt where nobody would have noticed it. In Earth orbit there's 
no way it would have gone undetected for so long unless it was only just 
now detected by some new cutting-edge sensor technology.
