Okay, it seems that quite a few of you out there didn't bother to read what
we specified for the nominations.  Nominating a candidate is all well and
fine, but we need to know WHY you consider him/her good.  Remember, this is
like any other awards presentation/Hall of Fame: you need to get in based on
merit.  Simply saying "I like what (s)he wrote" is not going to cut it.  For
an example of what we're looking for, I will quote from Freemage's
nomination of Eric Hallstrom:

      I nominate Eric Hallstrom.  His "Ranma & Akane:  A Love
     Story" has firmly established his place in the FFML community.

      In addition to the outright brilliance of his prose, he is able to
      effect the most seamless insertions of lyrics and poetry I have
      ever seen.  His villians are well-imagined and adroitly written, and
      his knowledge of the the Ramnaverse shows in his meticulous
      handling of details and characters.

      Where "Alternaverse" usually means, "I'm too lazy to make sure I
      know the contintuity," here it means, "I've got an entire mythos to
      establish, and six months to do it in."

Note that here, Freemage bases Eric's nomination based on the merit of his
prose skills, attention to details and character creation.  Nomination can
also be based on whether the author is a master at plotting, or excellent at
bringing forth emotion.  If you're going to make a nomination for author X
based on the fact that his/her fic "is good," but don't say WHY, then all
you're doing is hurting X's cause, because we'll either fire the nomination
back to you asking for a reason, or worse, delete it.  This is not about
politics nor is it a popularity contest.  You have to have merit to get in.

Lastly, in order to help the process, the below is a form to be used for
making nominations.  Just CnP it into your email, and fill in the blanks.
