Oooooh, the awesome scarey Amazon techniques. Flashy tricks are all
well and good, but you don't see the best of the Ranma fighters relying
upon them all that much. Would Ranma have eventually gotten that fast
without the amigurken training? Probably.
Proof?
Would Ryouga have gotten
that tough?
Proof?
Maybe given more time. Would training by Cologne make
Shampoo as fast as Ranma? I have my doubts.
Considerin how her speed matched Ranma's the the various fights of Manga
vol 37 and 38, and had beaten Kilma on her own whereas Ranma had such
trouble with her . . . I can't see why I should doubt that.
Heck if it's just a matter of techniques, Genma himself (disrespected as
he is) invented several rather powerful ones. Now of course this _is_
Shampoo's POV, so she could very well be very wrong. In fact, I suppose
that's another valid reading of the story. Shampoo just doesn't "get
it". She understands neither martial arts nor Ranma nor what Cologne
has been trying to teach her.
Hmmmmmm. I must think about this more.
You do that :)
