Well, after reading Lara Bartram and Mike Loader's fic Bliss, I got to
thinking about Jusenkyo curses, and I have a couple of questions to
throw out there:
1) If Ranma did get pregnant while female, what would happen
if he turned back into a male while pregnant?
Takahashi has refused to consider the question, so it's up to fanfic's
authors to see what they want to do.
As a side note, Bliss has made me think about all these fanfics where
Ranma gets pregnant, which in turn reminded me of my biology courses
back in high school. Among other things about human body, we learned
that while men produce spermatozoids their whole life, women make
ovules while very young (as foetus, I believe).
That made me wonder about the supposed fertility of Ranma's woman body : couldn't it be
perfectly healthy, but lacking the basic element to be fertile. That
would also mean no period for onna-Ranma, no matter how long he would
be in it at once.
